Coppermill Steakhouse

Inattentive service- we had to find our own utensils as our food was served without them and our server didn’t bother to check. We ordered the special, Lobster Ravioli but were told 20 minutes later that the kitchen had “86’d” it. We waited another 10 minutes with empty water and drink glasses. Had to send prime rib back- I couldn’t even cut it with the steak knife. The asparagus was very underdone and tough. The rolls with garlic butter were fantastic and the tomato basil soup was very tasty. The prosciutto was just sliced fried, smoked bacon, very fatty and tough. My prime was replaced with a kc strip which was much better- although it had tons of butter and was over seasoned with salt which took away from the flavor. We did get a discount off our bill. For the cost I wasn’t all that impressed.

Bartender was amazing quick efficient on the spot. The service was terrible we had a reservation for 7:30 we got there at 7:00 we did not get our food till 8:30. We may be sorry waitress for maybe five times . But the spinach artichoke dip was on point!!! And the food was quite good we enjoyed it except for the service situation.!

Noah, our server, was great, very friendly and knowledgeable when asked questions regarding the menu. We ordered an appetizer and 2 entrees. Our signature drinks were delivered quickly as was my companions salad. Our entrees came out next, Noah was kind enough to cancel our appetizer as we wouldn't really want it after our entrees. My pasta entree was missing its add on protein but Noah took care of it quickly. Overall, the food and drink was good and the service was great.

Went back for a second time and feel I need to give another review. Dropped to 3 stars. I ordered the sirloin steak as did my husband. When it came to our table it looked just like the filet my mother had ordered. I had the waitress come over and expressed that I thought I had been given a filet not a sirloin. She said she would take care if it. The next thing I knew the "chef" was at our table and gave me a "schooling " on cuts of sirloin and that mine was indeed sirloin that it was a ball tip.(see attached) I pointed to my husband's and was informed that was a "flat". Who knew????There was no apology or let me replace that with a flat. Bottom line is if you are ordering a sirloin here make sure you ask for a flat, otherwise you might get a ball tip which has zero fat on it and is really not very tender or flavorful at all !! Wish I would have taken pictures to show but I was too shocked and embarrassed by getting "dressed" down on cuts of meat!

Ordered the Tuscan Chicken, spicy, nice sized portion and juicy chicken. However, the person I ate with (the last person to get food at the table) had the Salmon and it was over cooked, the mac and cheese was runny and bland and the French fries were limp and not even warm. With nearly a full plate was not asked if it could be corrected or even addressed.

Everything started out great. We were seated and waited on right away. We got there at 6:00 that evening. We did not get the food we ordered until after 7:00 that evening. The food was okay but the people I had dined with ended up with food poisoning. The only thing they had that I didnt was the prime rib. I got the sirloin. If we’re paying almost 100 dollars for food, I expect it to come out in a timely manner and for it to not make anyone sick. Not sure we will be returning.
