We head to Keei every time we visit the islands. A delightful family run business offering dinner service. Always relaxing and inviting and a bit off the beaten path. Half the crowd every night are ‘regulars’ which is always the best endorsement.

The food exceeded expectations. We started with the eggplant rolls and had the seafood pasta and daily catch 4 ( mahi mahi with a mango wine sauce), followed by the mango cobbler and macadamia nut pie. Everything was excellent. I was certainly surprised that the "vegetable medley" wasn't some sad combination but a wonderful combination that was perfectly cooked. Our server, Keana was excellent as well!

Bobby has been doing this for years. Never a disappointment. Fresh, local food with Aloha! Duck breast with fresh local veggies and Ono with organic greens! Oh so Ono!!!
A wonderful experience!

Returning visit for us. Amazing dinner w/Hawaiian influence. Fresh ono with lilikoi sauce very tasty. Good serving sizes. Nice cocktails and desserts too. Definitely recommend for nicer dinner out. Thanks for special memory.

Just a really fantastic little spot. I have driven by for years and had an off chance meeting with one of the cooks. He was such a pleasant guy I had to try the spot. My wife had the pork chops with both the peppercorn gravy and a side of pineapple glaze/chutney? I had the lamb. Started with the baked Brie and finished with, well I just couldn’t make up my mind so we shared both the coconut/lilikoi flan and the mango cobbler. We took the wife’s family there tonight. I won’t bore you but I can’t wait to have an excuse to go again! The service is warm, and accommodating, the food is delicious. The musician is very nice ambient level volume.

Wonderful service, charming old-time Hawaiian decor and an outstanding menu make this restaurant stand out. Going south, it's just past Gypsea Gelato from Kailua-Kona.
Two of our party had the rabbit, one had the duck and another the ono fish - all delicious. Leave room for the coconut flan and macadamia nut pie for dessert.

The Ahi Nachos are AMAZING 10/10!! The entrees taste/flavor was great!! But at this price point, I expected slightly better. The Mahi Mahi veggie/salad/potato platters were very good, but the presentation was a little sloppy. The Mahi Mahi had good flavor, but it was still slightly bland - cooked to a perfect rare, but not a ton of flavor. The duck dish again is very tasty and good, the duck was cooked to a perfect rare!! but I expected the duck to have a crispy skin, all the food on the dish was a little wet, and the presentation was a little sloppy. Again, it's great food! But I feel like if one put in a big effort to home-cook a meal like the Duck, Mahi, they could do it to a similar level of presentation/taste.

Dinner here was fantastic! It was casual dress with fine dining presentation. I had the rack of lamb as well as the catch of the day (Ahi). It was truly out of this world. The desert was the best I had in my 2 weeks of being in Hawaii and giving myself a pretty great tour of some great dining experiences. I have yet to mention the service. It was 5 star service provided by Bob and Elena. It was Elena's birthday and she served me and my party like it was our birthday. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant.

Found this amazing spot on OpenTable and stopped by. Wow, amazing food and attentive service. We started with the eggplant appetizer stuffed with couscous which was a really nice flavor combination. My son ordered the pork chops with peppercorn gravy and finished everything, he's 8😁. My wife had the poke nachos and didn't say a word until they were gone... I'm thinking site really enjoyed them. I had the fresh Ono prepared like the catch of the day #4 and it was amazing. I had never heard of Hawaiian cherries and the sauce that they made from those was memorable.
For dessert we couldn't decide so we had the lilikoi cheesecake and mango cobbler. The cheesecake was great, but the mango cobbler is something I would drive an hour for again any day.
Highly recommend this restaurant if you are on the big island!

I used to go to Keei Cafe with my husband for our anniversary. It has been 4.years since he passed. My son and daughter in law suggested Keei Cafe for my birthday. Still delicious food, great service and wonderful atmosphere. So glad you still have Freddie entertaining. Thank you Bobby and your crew. Tonya Ivon.
