Aloha Salads

One if my favorite places to go. It's been awhile since we stop in to dine. As always fresh and delicious! They have added a plant based menu, info available online. The service was great! Busy place! Still quick and excellent. So popular!! highly recommended! You won't be disappointed. Thank you. Aloha Salad!!! And my dear friend who came along to experience them for the first time!!

The salad I had was fine - no complaints. The grilled cheese sandwich was unexpectedly large, so much so that I think they might have doubled it by accident? But certainly not something to complain about. Just don't expect a measly generic grilled cheese, because that is not what it is! I think it could also be less sweet, so whichever cheese (or possibly cooking oil?) it was that was adding a sugary taste to it could probably be toned down a bit. But that's obviously personal taste. Edit: Had their grilled cheese again today in February 2021 and it's way less sweet now, and what I'd consider to be a normal, reasonable size for a grilled cheese. The one I had before was definitely doubled and sweeter than the one I had today. So either they changed the recipe, or the one I had originally was a goof-up. End edit. The only thing I could really objectively complain about was that I had to stand and wait awhile before the staff acknowledged me, but I'm not dinging their rating for it since they had a pretty large pile of orders they appeared to be dealing with. However, it's more polite for them to acknowledge a newly-arrived guest and tell them they'll be with them in a moment. This is especially true when there are several staff members present and in the immediate vicinity.

Decided to get a salad after yoga class. Chose the kamuela Cobb. It actually wasn't a bad salad. The ranch dressing is of the style that I don't like, so it was easy not to add the dressing. The chicken was dry, but it also resembled the blu cheese, so at first i didn't eat it all until I realized there was still chicken on my plate.. Would have gotten a seltzer water, but they contain sugar, so skipped the beverage.

A great local owned place. They have generous portions for their salads, even the small size. We've tried two so far both were very tasty. We're going back soon to try more, since there are so many options between salads & wraps on the menu. It's a quick & easy healthy option. The serice was great as they were all very nice & willing to answer questions w/out attitude nor issue.
