This place is outstanding if you’re looking for authentic Hawaiian food. It was my fav place on the island and I just thought everything there was fantastic. I went back three times. The Mac salad is the best I’ve ever had. The poke is fantastic. The pies are great. This place is an absolute gem.
Very traditional Hawaiian food, love the Pork Lau Lau, it’s so tasty and delicious. Definitely will come again.
Best food we had in all of Kauai. We got the shrimp tempura sushi, teriyaki beef masubi, poke, beef curry, kalua pork and cabbage, and lomi lomi. Everything was sooo good. We just wish we had more time to eat everything they have on the menu!
I had the Hawaiian plate and loved it! Takeout only, but well organized. Outdoor area to sit on picnic tables was nice and we got lucky and got a table in a Monday just after noon. Parking on the street like many places in town.
Great stop for ice cream, although you'll probably need to get some before lunch since they run out fast. Nothing wrong with desserts first! We got the haupia ice cream with espresso in a cup and mudslide as a shake. Some of the best frozen treats I've ever had.
Great Mac salad, expressive but tasty poke. You won't be disappointed grabbing food here.
I don't think they serve beer.
Get a bit of Hawaiian chilli pepper water to source up your plate lunch.
Delicious! Simple and delicious with no extras needed. I had the kimchi ahi and it was fantastic!
Best plate lunch on Kauai! Return customer to Pono Market since 2006. Super friendly, family-owned business with delicious Hawaiian options. The fried chicken, sesame ahi poke and spam musabi are our favorites to get to-go and enjoy on the beach. We love it so much we always try and go a few times during our vacations in Kauai.
