Michael was the most kind, knowledgeable, and customer service oriented Panera Bread employee I’ve met! He described what was in every item that we asked about. He was attentive to my pineapple allergy because I ordered a pick two with the Strawberry Poppyseed Chicken Salad. I also ordered their Creamy Tomato Soup; it was a perfect temperature! He made sure to replace the bruised apple that was accidentally put in my bag and remedied the minute mishap rapidly. WOW!!! I’m super impressed Panera!!! Someone give this man a raise! My friend and I frequent this location and have had many wonderful experiences but this tops them all!!! Keep up the wonderful service! It’s refreshing!
Great stop for bikers on the Trolley Trail, though we only saw one small bike rack -- but plenty of street signs to tether to. Parking looks like it could get tricky.
Soup, salad, sandwich, pastry, and iced tea all had the consistent quality we expect from Panera. Staff was friendly and prompt.

Hazelnut coffee served at the perfect sipping temperature on a very chilly Kansas City afternoon. I'll probably indulge myself in chicken and rice soup. Because I can't stop smelling it right now! I love love love this company. Always a good time to stop in.
Ms. Stephanie was G.R.E.A.T. the order experience is important and makes or breaks a restaurant. The ladies they have working the front are friendly, pleasant and can help you when you don't know what you want. It was clean upfront and well stocked. I ordered the green godess chicken 🥗 salad its made to order fresh and tasty. I think I may have a new place to grab a bite. Written 6-8-21 Went back 6-9-21 for custom salad and ice coffee and Ms. STEPHANIE was there again 🥰🤗. Treatment like this is why Brookside is one of my favorite places to shop.
Ridiculously nice staff. The food has always been up and down at every Panera I've ever been too, this location is no different. Visit to visit quality can vary greatly, but the wifi is free and it's a great place to work in one of my favorite areas in all of Kansas City.
I apologized while calling in my order to Panera Bread Company. I was tongue-tied and indecisive, struggling to get my order for 4 people complete. When I arrived to pick up our food, they informed me that my meal was comped, referencing to my mentioning that I was having "a bad day". Little did they know the depth of my circumstances that day, or how profoundly they had just blessed me. A big thank you to Michael, the manager. Panera offers tasty, great-quality food in a cozy, clean atmosphere. If I didn't know it before, I do now: the staff at Panera have warm hearts, as well.
Stephanie is the best! ( at the Brookside location.) I feel bad cause it's hard for them to get people who want to work and haven't had a supply truck in for 2 weeks.. so they are out of a lot of things.. customers are getting irate! Not her fault!!
Delicious! Our salads were some of the best flavor profiles I've ever had and were plated beautifully.
The staff was friendly and professional. Clean and tidy everywhere.
Downsides were two different people having conversations on their mobile phones via speaker phone. Not Panera's fault; social contract everybody!
5/7 would come back nightly if possible. :)
