Soooo pleased with the food. I came to CPRS with a few friends and we were seated quickly (though we wouldn't have minded waiting longer for such great food) as we expected a wait knowing it is a very small space. Our food was delicious and we appreciated the small menu. Service was friendly and knowledgeable, though I noticed our served skimped me on change (I paid in cash). The only reason I noticed this or pointed it out was because I never wanted change in the first place, but I wasn't paying attention at the time our bills were being paid to make that clear and it seemed like our server assumed that I wasn't going to tip, though I included cash above the cost of my meal. Maybe it was an inexperienced server who didn't know that if there is a question about that to just give $1s back.. So that was kinda weird. Hopefully it was just an incorrect math thing, otherwise those kind of presumptions about patrons are very off-putting. Overall, 100% love this place. Will be back again for sure.

Such a cute little shop 🙂 Our waiter was really friendly and nice and the service was fast. I loved my ramen and would love to go there again. My only concern is why is the dish so expensive? I would happily pay 10.00 for that quantity but 12.00 is a bit more
Whole in the wall, in the best way. Limited seating, good service, rich broth and specials to bring a variety to those who frequent. Had their jellied sake which was great and dined on their Shoyu. Portions we're comparable to other shops in KC, eggs we're marinated soft boiled, and the meat was excellent. Get there early because it's a cozy place with limited seating.
The ramen was delicious, the tucked away location is delightful, and the staff was great! Seating is a bit limited, and if you're outside make sure to bring bug spray so you don't get mosquito bites.
I found solace and comfort here on my 1st night in KC. It was easily the coldest night of my stay in November but the local IPA and hot ramen helped me survive. Kudos to the staff for going above and beyond in helping me to select local beers. Appreciated the free wifi as well. Cheers!
Ramen this good is hard to find. Not just the Ramen is amazing. Their house pickle side is a must. Then a spectacular beer selection! Oh and I can't not mention the Kimchi! They could just sell that kimchi alone and I'd be happy. We have gone two times. We will end up going way more. Hopefully the mustard greens kimchi find its way on the menu 😍

First time there. The pork broth reminded meet of my grandmother's New Orleans cooking. I was stuffed and it was well worth it. I also recommend the kimchi.
Loud and hipster if I had two words to describe the atmosphere. Small inside with just two tables and maybe 10 seats at the bar. A few more tables and bar seating outside. The tonkotsu was great. Noodles were chewy and bouncy though not particularly alkaline. Broth was amazing. Chashu seemed fatty to me. Also can't believe they charge two dollars for a soft boiled marinated egg.
Chimichurri tri-tip steak and noodles were wildly delicious, and their ramen broth is so rich - definitely a labor of love. This is a solid restaurant and among few who do ramen right.
The best cold weather food ever! The place is cute and cozy and the ramen is delicious. One of the few places in the city I don't mind eating alone.
Although I am adventurous with my restaurant selections, I've never ventured to try a noodle shop....until now! What an outstanding option for my first foray. The ambiance has great energy, love the decor. The staff was helpful in answering all my questions. I opted to take their suggestion and tried the mushroom bowl with a marinated egg. Deliciousness abound! The serving was plentiful and provided lunch for the next day. Will definitely return AND continue my education in the world of noodles!
Daily pickle is can't miss. Kimchi ramen is spicy and delicious.
