This was my first Bo Lings experience. We went for lunch. It was pretty quiet when we walked in as they just opened. Loved the decor. The bathroom was a little awkward to get to based on our seating. No big deal though. We ordered general tsos chicken with hot and sour soup and steamed pork dumplings. To drink, we got the dark green tea. The dumplings we perfect. Good size. Tender. Flavorful. The dipping sauce was more of a soy sauce. The general tsos had huge chunks of chicken. Big dried chilis, downside. However, over all very good. Loved the crab rangoon. I am not a sweet rangoon person. I like mine saviory, and that they were. The had huge half inch to inch wide fried wontons that went with the hot and sour soup. Spicy mustand was good. Then again, probably not hard to mess up. The dark green tea was great. Subtle. I would definitely go back. I can see how they could be oretty pricey for dinner. I would recommend the dumplings any time. And if you want a larger entree, go during lunch and get one from the lunch menu. Also, our waitress was extremely knowledgeable. Which surprised me. Very pleased with the overall service.
Every BoLings lends a different experience decor wise, but the food is consistent amongst all locations. City Market was in play today. Lunch was served hot, fresh & fast ♥️
Ordered family style with two other people👧👦👨. Got so appetizers and two main dishes. They were all fantastic. Amazing flavoring and sauce. Nice portions. However, everyone in the staff seemed really grumpy😡. Except the guy greeting the front. He was very cheerful☺️ and gave a nice first impression. I thought everyone would be just as happy but they weren’t. Which made me kinda sad lol. I always enjoy talking to the waiters but not this time!!! ☹️ oh! I also came for the dim sum but apparently that’s only at the Plaza location. Sad life. Lol
Service was on point during a lunch break on a Monday. Tea was fire and the Mandarin Chicken was a little different them what I expect in a Chinese restaurant but it was surprisingly good. P.s. I still got y'alls check #MichaelMacThomas

The food here is of phenomenal quality, I'm not even a fan of vegetables and will a lot of times omit most vegetables from my meals, but the broccoli looked so fresh and good that I ended up eating me and my wife's broccoli. This is just how good the quality of their food is. I have not had Chinese food that clean in quality in a very long time!
Good lunch for a decent price. The wait staff were all friendly and my drink stayed full. I didn't have to wait long even during the Friday lunch rush and my food was delicious. I got the lunch portion of general tso's chicken and there was definitely plenty.
I decided to come in and get some appetizers, so I ordered the lettuce wraps, the vietnamese shrimp/pork spring rolls and the fried eggplant. All of which were up to par on taste. They did good bringing it to me in increments and were attentive to making sure water and food quality was good. Great spot to come if in Rivermarket area. My fortune cookie had 3 fortunes in it..... And I got 3 appetizers.... 3 lottery tickets next? 😊
The food was very tasty and service was great. A lot of construction in the immediate area so it is difficult to get into the area. Parking was a challenge too.
Delicious food. Very friendly staff. The luncheon portions are just enough, without making you feel overly stuffed, for the rest of the day.
