From the minute we walked in, the entire staff treated us exceptionally. They work as a team to make sure customers have the best experience.
Let’s talk about the food! The bruschetta and olive tapenade were both wonderful. I had the chicken parmesan and it was delightful and fed me for two additional meals - what an investment in delicious leftovers!!! My husband had the lamb chops and really enjoyed them.
The dessert was the shining star! It was my birthday, so we ordered the tiramisu. Our waiter, Maddie, suggested the espresso martini and it was an excellent pairing. I wasn’t surprised because Maddie was knowledgeable, helpful and amazing all evening.
At the end of the night, the icing on the cake was a bottle of wine with all the staff’s signature. If you are looking for a special night and a caring crew of folks, Osteria Il Centro is the place to be!

Osteria Il Centro is our go-to date night spot. The atmosphere is quaint and welcoming. I try to get a different entree each visit, and my wife and I are always completely happy with our dinners. IMO, they have THE best Italian food in KC. Their cocktails and desserts are also amazing. Not to mention the top-notch service every single time!

The food and service was top notch, but to be honest, this place is worth the trip for the bread alone. It's ridiculously delicious. I'm not even remotely joking, I could live on it happily for the rest of my life. And to top off a wonderful evening celebrating my husband's birthday, they gifted him a bottle of wine after we tabbed out. We will definitely be returning

We decided to try Osteria I’ll Centro for our anniversary dinner. I’m so happy we did. The food is delicious. We both had the Caprese appetizer, generous size, very tasty. I wasn’t a fan of the bread but my husband loves it. I had eggplant Parmesan for my entree. I’m extremely picky about eggplant after living in the Northeast, it was delicious! Large portion that I brought half home. My husband had the short ribs ravioli. He typically doesn’t go for pasta and said this was outstanding. I wish we had save room for dessert.. next time Extensive wine and whiskey list. Ample parking. Great experience

Loved the atmosphere. The waiter was awesome; friendly, funny, knowledgeable and welcoming. Food was delicious. Service was wonderful. I'd go back soley on the great service alone. Wonderful first time experience.

I took a couple bites of the tiramisu before taking a photo but this is by far my favorite Italian restaurant in KC. The atmosphere is so quaint and the staff is phenomenal without a doubt and are very knowledgeable about the selections of wine/alcohol and menu. I try to come here as often as possible! It is truly a one and only restaurant if you're wanting genuine quality with great staff and food ❤.

One of my all time favorite restaurants in Kansas City since 1996 or 1997. The food is truly Amazing and the veal is an absolute treat! Great selection at the Bar as well! The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Don’t let the lack of reviews deter you from this place. Made dinner reservations for a group of 10 for my birthday dinner. Upon arrival the table was setup for us in this quaint space! Good drinks, great appetizers, and the main courses were phenomenal. Only thing that was underwhelming was the Caesar salad, which was a little to wet/runny vs a thick creamy dressing. Service was great, and even left with a custom happy birthday signed bottle of wine! Definitely a spot to visit again!

The food was excellent, the waitress was friendly (without being too friendly), and the atmosphere was pretty good. The dining room was small (I think part of it was closed off for renovations) so making a reservation is strongly recommended. We got lucky but the hostess gave me the impression that usually walk-ins have a substantial wait.
We are definitely planning to return soon!

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. I took my sister for her birthday. Food was great and the service was fantastic so much so I forgot to take pictures of our appetizers and food. I was also amazed at how fast our food was prepared. I will definitely circle back around to this spot.

Lovely little restaurant with great food and impressive wine list. Have been here numerous times and it's been an absolute joy every time (even though they make it fast too easy to eat too much by making everything so good). Plenty of great options on the regular menu (Chicken Pesto Tortellini, Short Rib Ravioli, Chicken Spiedini, the Orecchiette) but I also really enjoy their specials.

The vibes were immaculate - delicious food and drinks, even better service. A plate never sat on our table, nor an empty drink. Lisa was our server and she never missed a beat for our larger group. I had the lobster ravioli and will be thinking about it over the next few weeks 😋 Ended dinner with an espresso martini - which how can you go wrong? I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

Update 11-3-2023 - it's still my favorite place. Just had dinner there with friends. The social atmosphere, excellent service, excellent food, and excellent wine still can't be beat.

This is my husband and mine’s new favorite Italian restaurant in KC now. I hadn’t heard of it but my husband works downtown and had been wanting to try it. We walked in on a Saturday night without reservations but we got there early enough that they were able to seat us at the bar. We met some couples at the bar that had driven in from Iowa and Kansas a few hours away and said it was one of their favorite places. The service was so quick and good. The bartender was really attentive and friendly and poured with a heavy hand lol. The calamari was the best I had ever had. So was the lasagna and the tiramisu we had for dessert. Just amazing! We’ll definitely be back!
