That was our best experience in a French restaurant . First we ate Saturday night. Food was incredible fresh products from local farms with a French twist.
I never tried olive from Nice city and they were the best I never tried.
After this beautiful dinner we came back Sunday for brunch.
You need to make a reservation because they are so successful.
They’re Croque madame is wowww.
If you never went there you should try !

I would give it a 6 star if there’s an option. Not only that we enjoyed the food, food presentation, ambient of the restaurant, we truly appreciate our waiter John for introducing a good selection on the menu. He is very knowledgeable of the menu and I can tell he enjoy being there and provide a good service to everyone. We were told that the Chef always create new menu creatively. They have happy hour and you’ll get to try delicious food at a lower price. It was my first visit to the restaurant and I was very happy with all the selections. Definitely going back!

I had dinner here on a Tuesday night. The place was pretty packed. I sat at the bar.l as I was dining solo. The bartender was fantastic - genuinely friendly but not over the top in your face sort of friendly. I had the Birth of a Flower cocktail which was lovely. I had the pork belly (porc au citron) which was fabulous, and I also had some profiteroles which looked great but weren’t terribly good (I found the pastry too dry). The pork and cocktail were insanely good though so I highly recommend this spot. Also, the Westport area seemed really fun - lots of restaurants and bars and nice vibe.

Very laid back and charming cafe. Great brunch and drink selection. Wait staff was extremely pleasant, helpful, and cheerful. I had a quiche Lorraine and arugula salad with lemon truffle vinagrette, an order of apple beignets with a wonderful berry jam. My friend had a breakfast burrito and accompanied our entrees with 2 delicious, freshly made bloody Marys. Would highly recommend this cozy cafe and bar.

One of my favorite spots in KC and they make arguably the best burger in town. The lamb keftas were also amazing!
Highly recommend this place but make sure you reserve a table if going on a busy night.

Place is incredible. Very nice ambience and the server was lovely. Definitely try the escargot as an app. Pro tip: If you want to try the Steak Frites without having to commit to the whole thing, they serve it as a happy hour meal with a 4oz steak instead of the 8oz. It's less than half the price but comes with a little less fries. Every cocktail I've had here has been delicious. The prices are very reasonable for what you are getting as the food is worth every penny. 10/10👌

Loved the atmosphere here. Our host was superb. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and you can tell how passionate he was about his employer and his job. Food presentation was marvelous. The food itself tasted wonderful just as much. We enjoyed every dish we ordered. The risotto was amazing! And the mojito? Get it! Best mojito I've had.

We came here for Sunday brunch, and it was amazing. They have cool ambiance, and would definitely be a good date night spot at night. Our server was really helpful. The apple beignets get a NOLA stamp of approval!.. super soft, thick, had apple chunks, well-balanced sweetness.. some of the best I've had anywhere! The quiche was was also excellent, and everybody at my table was very happy with their plates. Brunch at Westport Cafe is very inexpensive for the super high quality you get. That's enough motivation to come back for dinner next time.

We were looking to have some drinks and a light snack/meal. We stopped in and got seating at the bar. Service was good and the food turned out tasty as well. It was a little warm inside but to be fair it was 102 outside. We will be back to try dinner soon.

Happy hour steak frites for the win!
What a fantastic price and what a fantastic little steak meal. Perfectly sized to be able to grab a dessert after or a few drinks beforehand. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the fries were great. The first truffle fries I’ve tried that weren’t kick you in the mouth truffle flavor.
The cheese platter was fantastic as well. The homemade jam was delicious and the various cheeses weren’t your run-of-the-mill, common cheeses that you see at budget restaurants.
Overall, we were very happy, and our server was great too.
As a bonus, they have a solid whiskey lineup to choose from for all of my bourbon guys.
5/5 across the board!

Couple weeks back indulged in a wonderful brunch at Westport Cafe, a beloved staple in the heart of Westport. Whether sipping on cocktails at the bar or feasting on French delights with friends, the cafe always delivers a good time.
The fresh oysters were elevated by the champagne mignonette, while the grilled oysters were a hit with their Rockefeller-style preparation. The mussels, cooked to perfection, were best enjoyed with the bread, which served as the perfect vessel to soak up the delicious broth. And, the apple beignets and cheese plate were the perfect accompaniments to a good glass of sparkling wine.
For our entrees, we opted for a sharing feast and decided on eggs Benedict, lemon ricotta pancakes, quiche Lorraine, and croque madame. Each dish was prepared perfectly, with highlights including the poached eggs on the eggs Benedict - the yolk running down and combining with the hollandaise sauce to create a delectable coating for the smoked pork shoulder and English muffin. The lemon ricotta pancakes, with a dense cake-like texture, soaked up the syrup and lemon butter for a moist, flavorful experience. And, the quiche Lorraine and croque madame were equally amazing. Completing our meal were truffle fries, fingerling potatoes and an arugula salad, all great accompaniments to the delicious entrees.
We left Westport Cafe with happy hearts and can't wait to return for another unforgettable experience!

Their cocktails and food are great! The menu is online and just need to scan QR code to pull it up on your phone. The place is not big but you can sit comfortably. Price is a bit on high.
There is a happy hour from 4-6 and 10-close! So you can good food and great price and a discounted drinks:)
Plan well to find a parking space during weekend night’s.

Looking for a happy hour spot in KC? Check out Westport Cafe in the Westport area! The happy hour at Westport Cafe is everyday from 4-6pm and 10pm until closed. We tried several appetizers/dishes on the happy hour menu starting with the French Nachos for $12 that consisted of Sunchoke chips, creamy local mushrooms, candied Fresno, Kirby pickles, & KS Cheddar Foam! We also ordered the Steak Frites plate for $13 and the Chicken Terrine $9. You can’t end your happy hour meal at Westport Cafe without ordering Profiteroles (puffed pastry with ice cream, & chocolate sauce) for $2.50 each.
The Westport cafe offers a French ambience with great service and tasty meals.

Such a lovely place with a nice quiet ambiance. Every food item I’ve ever tried here has been delicious. The black truffle risotto was especially good. The lamb Ragu was on point and the steak is cooked to perfection every time. This is one of my favorite places in Westport because the food is good and they are open late and the staff is literally so nice every time.

Highly recommend stopping by during happy hour! Pretty extensive menu options at a fair price. I really enjoyed the sangria, though admittedly it was not too strong.
The highlight of the meal was definitely the lamb bao - whatever spices were dusted on the outside were absolutely incredible. The coconut curry with mussels was also delicious. The profiterole was quite a good value at less than 3 dollars.
The indoor space was lovely and wait staff were very friendly. Overall, one of my favorite meals thus far in Kansas City!
