Ems Original Sub Shop

I just had a cheese steak. It was delicious. They also have bathrooms. Most of the places downtown won't let you use them. Emms does. I'm still going to Emms. I come here all the time now. I just had one of their wraps. It was delicious. There are other restaurants around here but I just seem to go here. I love their food and they have such a variety. I was just in here the other day. I found out they do platters and different food for parties. The one being picked upped looked delicious. Now I no where to go if I need to do that.

Food was decent, I guess it's depending on what you get, for a food deli. Selection was good. They have sandwiches and fried items and so on. At least four drink coolers for you to pick a drink from. The only reason it didn't get five stars was because customer service wasn't the best, the employees seemed as if they couldn't be bothered.

When my Daughter went to the vocational school across the street we always go for lunch here. Their subs tasted like I grew up with in Norther NJ. Perfect bread. Right balance of veggies, oil, and red wine vinaigrette! I use to take two Torpedos home to Harrisburg with me. This is the place to stop for a real Sub when in town!

I requested extra lettuce on my sub. I have had subs before from here that had very little lettuce. There appeared to be 2 employees. 1 working the register the other making the subs. The receipt had notation of the extra lettuce. When I opened them at home they had very little lettuce. Somebody doesn't appear to have their head in the game. I even asked the sub maker if he remembered to add extra lettuce when he brought the subs to the counter. He indicated that he did. Avoid this location you'll be glad you did.
