Luigi's Restaurant

The parking can be a little tight, but once you walk through the doors, you realize it's worth the effort! I normally grab something from the express side, but recently had a girls night in the restaurant. The staff was very attentive, the noise level was low so we could actually have conversation, the food was excellent and reasonably priced. I highly recommend the Polenta fries, Chicken Marsala, and any of the Pasta dishes, and of course the carrot cake. They offer perfectly sized portions and several appetizers and salads to choose from.

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. I ordered a side of meatballs and a chicken parm dinner that came with pasta fagiole soup. The soup was ok, nothing too exciting. The meatballs were very good, tightly packed and solid with very little filler. The chicken was good, I would have liked it pounded some more. The marinara sauce was very good. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 7.9.

I really like this place. I give it a 4 because it's nothing spectacular. It's good food, but that's really all it is, is good. It's not great. It's not restaurant quality. Like your aunt makes this stuff for family events. I get why it's always packed, but it's just food. It's catered food available in abundance, then they prepare it for you. That's all it is.

We had an awesome experience Saturday night. The singer was great and the food was exceptional. The atmosphere with outside dining was top of the line. The waiter, Nick, had a great sense of humor, and for his second night as a server, was really good . Cudos to Kerri and Ralph for creating such an outstanding dining experience!

I ordered delivery for the family via Luigi's website. Order was delivered missing 2 salads, a soup, 2 desserts, and rolls. Called Luigi's, Glen talked to me, and I had to drive there to retrieve items. I live close by, but I ordered delivery for a reason, so annoyed either way. Anyhow, he was super nice and rectified their mistake. After warming my dinner of scrod, the portion was tiny but that's ok because it was not good, sadly indelible to me... the potatoes...meh, the green beans awesome & salad awesome. Having spent $100+, I'm not satisfied or impressed at all but I truly appreciate Glen's attempt/effort to make it better. I'll probably look elsewhere for a family dinner next time.

Nice restaurant located in the center of Johnston, they offer a sit down dinner , and also have an express take out option. The staff are very nice and attentive. The food is good , typical Italian style menu items . Parking is tough , the parking lot is tight . Make sure you come a little early for your reservation .
