DQ, That's What I Like About Texas. We were drawn here today for the waffle cone/blizzard combo.
Having never been to the Jefferson Dairy Queen, it was a nice visit. From the outside it looks newer, maybe more modern look than traditional DQ. Inside;however, the look is older with wood and lattices and older pictures on the wall including one with Republic of Texas money (no one there knew if it was real). Looks like a Jefferson DQ would try to look.
We got the taco meal and discussed how DQ hard tacos are probably our favorite hard taco anywhere. Must be the spiced taco meat.
Our dessert was the waffle cone blizzard combo in a chocolate cone with oreo blizzard inside. It was delicious especially it you took a bite of blizzard at the same time with a bite of crunchy cone.
No diet dr pepper here only coke products.
Dairy Queen makes our list as one of the places where almost anything there is very good. We will be back for sure time and time again for the rest of our lives.

O wow this is just a little secret in this town. The best damn Dairy Queen I have ever ate. Idk what it was. The meat tasted real! We was just on our way to Houston and just stopped by coming from Arkansas. This is what a burger supposed to taste like. A work of Art!!!!
This is a pretty good DQ! If the right crew is working, it's a 5 star Dairy Queen for sure. Be sure & stop at this, NOT the one Linden! I'm also not impressed with the one Marshall honestly. Might be newer, but newer definitely doesn't always mean better! Jefferson's Dairy Queen is by far the cleanest & best in the area, hands down.
