Besides the best pizza in town, the family that runs the place, top notch, wonderful people ...no words to describe just how flippin fantastic this place is :)
Leo's has the most amazing pizza around. They treat you like family when you go there. We love the waitress Stacy. We recommend it to everyone.
Its been many many many years since I've been to Leo's for their pizza. The ingredients they use are fresh and generous. The sauce is just right - not too plain not too sweet not too spicy. The ingredients give the flavors and the sauce just enhances it.
I think Mrs. Leo is a beautiful person - inside and out, and if I may say so - steong and courageous. I did not know they lost their beautiful son (and his fiance) years ago. That she can still work so hard and show a customer service "face" that should be a perfect example to others. Some of the pictures I posted (poor lighting on my part) are of her son - to honor her.
We had a large party . They opened up the back room to get us all seated.
Pizza was good . Not really thin crust like advertised but not super thick . It did have a good yeasty flavor .
We were here for almost 3 hours. Little excessive in my opinion.
So Leo's is a bright light in a pretty dismal restaurant scene in Jacksonville. We went there for a "passing-through" evening meal. The pizza was fresh, and the ambience was great ... halfway through our meal, the owner came out to check that we were enjoying the meal. Maybe it wasn't the *best* pizza that I have had in my life, but it was quite a nice meal. Wait staff was kind and attentive also.
We have never had a poor experience here! Always prompt service and our pizza is always ready at the time quoted when we order pick up. My husband's favorite place to eat in town!
My family absolutely loves this place. Daughter loves the spaghetti, son loves that he can get his own little pizza, husband loves the pizza and the Bosco sticks are definitely a win for myself. It is a bit pricey but it is definitely worth it!
Leo's Pizza was a favorite if mine during my MacMurray College years 1981-85. Went back for the first time in a long time after the Mac farewell weekend. The pepperoni/sausage pizza was as I remembered it from so long ago. It's a shame I don't live closer as I would eat there weekly.
The food is amazing, get the bosco bread. There was a complication with our order but the owner and staff fixed it. Thank You! This will be the place we go when we visit again.
This place is great! Every time I come back there, they greet me with a friendly smile and a welcoming phrase. They are genuine and trully want to make my experience top notch. As far as food, it is a bit of a wait, but oh boy is it worth the wait. I'm tellin' you: be patient and don't nah them. The pizza is a OK, no matter the day, no matter the weather.
They got plenty of seating, games, and other machines to entertain you or your kids. Great for family and friends outings!
Anyway, go see them and tell them Paulie sent you. You will not regret it.
