Ordered at the takeout window. I had the 2 meat salad with turkey and pork. I really enjoyed the turkey but the pork had a lot of fat attached…so I wasn’t feeling that so much. Other than that clean location and the food came out fast. The salad was good and well portioned. Just wish chicken was an option for salads.
I get takeout from here regularly and it's usually a very big order and they never mess up the order. The staff are great and always remember us when we come in. And I like my food well done and they always make the fries and onion rings extra crispy, and they will give me the most well done meat. I highly recommend it and they will cook your food the way you like it.
Ariel no longer works here but her room mate does! She will take care of you! I had the chicken special with the one rib two sides this week! I have been known to eat here two to three times a week for lunch! Be patient with Ariel!!! She usually is the only waitress! And remember she has to clean the tables for the next customer! She will take good care of you! And don't be like the (4 wallyhogs) that ran her to death the other day when I was in there! Then left her a $1.00 tip! If you don't have money to leave a tip, get it to go!Food was delicious as always! Beef, Ribs, Chicken or Turkey with fries, slaw, baked beans and sweet tea!
Great food with good sized portions. My family of 4 can share 2 three meat platters with a couple of extra sides. We get appetizers and sometimes dessert (good cookies).
The service is quick and pays attention to the needs of the patrons. The restaurant is clean with plenty of room.
This particular Bonos is definitely has a down home, small town kind of feel to it along with really good bbq. It was a little bit slow on the service possibly due to the high volume of customers at the time so I gave the location 4 stars. I think if they had another waiter/waitress on staff to assist would have gotten 5. But if you're not in a hurry yo get somewhere and want to enjoy the food and company totes 5 stars.
We have been going to this Bonos for years because it feels like home. Wait staff is very attentive even when only one waitress is on duty. Service is sometimes slow, but totally worth it because the food is always delicious. My favorite is the large chicken platter because it's always juicy and full of flavor. I pair it with the green beans and mashed sweet potatoes to round out a relatively healthy meal.
Great BBQ & great service at the Jammes Rd Bono's. Chris, the Pitmaster, always slices up a hot & tasty brisket sandwich. Melody & John make you feel welcome every time you visit. The counter is a great place to watch the Jags play while enjoying tasty BBQ.
Omg! Amazing food and staff. I had just eaten out at a nice seafood place the night before and had green beans as one of my sides. They weren't half as good as Bono's green beans. I got the small St. Louis ribs. The portion was just my size. The Nanna puddin is off the chain too!
I do not know why this restaurant received any negative reviews! It was clean! The staff was super nice and efficient! The food came out quickly and was amazingly delicious!
Make the stop! You will be glad you did!
Since I’ve moved to Texas, my expectations have increased. Overall, not a bad experience but wish the meat had more flavor.
