When two of Jacksonville best bloggers give high praise to a restaurant, who am I to not pay attention. I follow both Nourish the Beast and Jax Restaurant Reviews and Foodie Adventures and they only had stellar comments. So I found myself her last Sunday, ready for laid back breakfast, quiet and relaxed, it was packed and I was lucky to get the last two top. Tables full with multi generational famlies, couples, singles we were all there for one thing, good food and I for one was totally rewarded.
The breakfasts here are awesome. Big portions; everything's fresh; delicious coffee! I've been here twice and look forward to coming back. The first time I went, I enjoyed the sausage biscuits & gravy. It is so flavorful. This last time I had the sausage omelet with a side of the sausage gravy/biscuits. So good. Also try the creamed chipped beef!! Glad to see the place was busy. The family owners work their butts off! I hope they are around for a long time. Looking forward to trying other menu options - everything I saw coming out of the kitchen looked mighty tasty! (Very reasonably priced, too!)
Great local breakfast location. We were here on a stop over and found this great location. The fish was so light and fluffy, not greasy, well seasoninged. Grits were thick and cheesy. Way more food then I could eat for sure and reasonably priced. The pancake was very large, tasty and fluffy as well. The pork chop came out hot and very delicious. Our waitress was super attentive and very friendly. We will be back on our next visit.
Stopped in for the first time on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch. Ended up getting the Country Omelet with Home Fries. The food was excellent! The portions sizes where huge. Service was wonderful. The kind of place that you know you are going to be a regular after your first visit. Have been back about several times since.

Family owned business very customer service Oriented with a nice breakfast Menu. I ordered the steak and eggs; the meat was well cooked as well the eggs.I recommend this place for your daily fast dine in.
Amazing experience. Went on a whim because I was in the area and wanted a fresh and not fast food style breakfast. Staff were very kind, food was amazing! One of the best orders of soft scrambled eggs ive ever had! Food was delicious and made efficiently. Cool decorations as well, and a neat fish tank. More than a 5 star experience and worth the visit. 😊

Deliciously cooked breakfast, friendly atmosphere, cook/owner very personable
Excellent!! We were looking for a new breakfast place that wasn't a chain restaurant. The food was wonderful. Lots of choices and large portions.. Hot, fresh and not out of a can. My husband had the biscuits and gravy. He said it was just like his mom made. I had the Meat Lovers Benedict. It was very good. The staff was very friendly too. They even had a saltwater fish tank with the different fish from Finding Nemo. We will definitely be back.
Love the food and staff! Great place for a family meal!
Mostly older folks and retired Navy veterans . Has kind of a rustic decor . The menu has plenty to choose from, my wife had steakham with gravy , scrambled eggs white and toast , I had omlett with onions , peppers, cheese , bacon and sausage. Mine was a bit overcooked but my wife's was great .
This place is a gem. We had an awesome breakfast. My girlfriend loved the classic eggs benedict, and I had the three meat breakfast quesadilla, which was amazing. Coffee was perfect, our server, Mary was attentive...we even got a picture of the baby with Santa! I'd give them 6 stars if I could.
Food was great, staff friendly but whoever owns the plaza needs to do something about the trash in the parking lot. I almost turned around and left because I was so put off over the amount of trash laying around. It was disgusting. If you can get past the trash in the parking lot definitely eat here.
