The best thing about this location is that they have 2 bars. They have the main inside bar. They also have a full bar on their patio. I used to be a bartender at this location. It was a fun atmosphere back then. The food is good. This location has a larger selection of beer on tap than the other Applebee's locations in the Jacksonville area. Thursday nights, they have trivia on the patio.

Veterans Day 2033 and this location offered and delivered outstanding food and service. Continues to be a 5 ⭐ location. Right off Old St. Augustine Road by the Hospital it is a bit of a challenge to get into. Parking is very good with lots of Handicap spots. Welcomed and sat right away. Liz became our server and she was professional as well as responsive to all our needs 5 ⭐. I ordered the side house salad $4.99 a meal in itself 5 ⭐. Bill ordered the Onion Soup $5.99. Now it was very good, small for the price, but even after 2 tries the kitchen couldn't really Brown the Cheese topping so 4 ⭐. I ordered the Chicken and Shrimp with Garlic Mashed potatoes. A very large meal that over half came home with me so for $20.99 a real 5 ⭐ even though the Shrimp could have been larger. Bill ordered Fish and Chips with Fries, Slaw and really enjoyed a 5 ⭐ for $15.99 and took home half of it. Again can't express our pleasure with the service (Thanks Liz) as well as the food. We shall return.

Was not busy when we went. Our waitress was super sweet and very attentive. Food was cooked properly with no issues. Salad was a little heavy-handed on the dressing, but I've noticed a lot of places are these days. It's a chain, so pricing is right there with most other chain restaurants. There's a bar inside, but another bar attached to the right of the entrance. Very interesting. There's also a Starbucks on the otherwise of the bar.

Sorry to read all the negative reviews about this Applebee location. I cannot say the same when we arrived here. The staff were very nice & attentive. Food was very good & as expected from a restaurant chain. My Shrimp salad was beyond fabulous & of course the Pretzels were amazing !! Guess we happen to get lucky when we arrived because not one complaint we had here !!

Our visit was very enjoyable, Melissa was our waitress. She was very hospitable answered any questions we had, took our orders. Presented our drinks and orders in a timely manner and kept our drinks filled and checked with us for refills on the boneless wings we had ordered. Thanks again Melissa for your kindness and courteous personalized service for us.

We visited on a Friday lunchtime and the place wasn't busy. Service was great - very attentive and quick. The meal combos seemed a good idea, though I had a Whiskey Bacon Burger - while excessive and good, I needed a fix of full on American burger! As always, it's nice to check out the walls which are decorated based on local (school) teams in this case

This particular Applebee's was really great to me. My 80 year old mom was in the hospital with pneumonia right close to it. She loves Applebee's french onion soup but she doesn't like the cardboard bowls they put it in for take out. They went out of their way to find a suitable container to put it in. She was so happy to have it. She ate almost all of it. Which was great because we couldn't get her to eat anything for over 2 weeks. I will be forever grateful to the crew who was working that night. Plus I got to sit and have their 2 for 1 margarita special while I waited for her soup. Which was also a nice short break for me. After having to drive an hour to get to the hospital.

We ordered 2/$25 our burgers were great. Server wasn't very friendly and was told the high chair had to go where a chair normally sits not the end of the table. It was a young man. Kind of hard to feed an 8 month old from the side.

My daughters wanted to try Applebee's, mostly because of the song. I have not been in a very long time. This location was very clean, and service was good. The girls enjoyed the kids' cheeseburger. I'm happy they have choices for entrees and sides for the kids. The adult cheeseburger was decent and my husband ordered the tequila lime chicken. A good place for a "during the week after soccer practice" stop.
