This has to be one of my favorite places to visit and eat. The 12pm National Anthem salute is amazing. Good to know that there’re places to go that has great customer service , great food and love for this great country.
This was probably some of the best barbecue I've ever eaten
Had lunch here for the first time. Ribs fall off the bone, brisket was moist, Mac and cheese had great flavor and texture and the cornbread was some of the best I’ve ever had. Special thanks to the manager, Michelle. Sweet lady. Offered me samples of anything on the menu. Customer service here is top notch.
Amazing atmosphere! Zach (cashier) person who help me pick a (lean) brisket sandwich. To a (female) who kept the dine-in area clean was so joyful. She enjoyed my smile in her words contagious. We had small talk on my way out. She said her name my apologies and I want her to get kudos too. 😁 I was there between 3pm - 4pm on Tuesday.
Food was fantastic. There was an issue with the coleslaw because I have a problem with seeds and they asked what we wanted instead and gladly provided it. The girl at the register, was VERY nice. And when we asked for extra cornbread and how much it would be because it was so good, they just gave us pieces in a container. So nice. Photos will show you how great it is. Definitely a repeat.
Tasty food and great service. It’s very clean and well organized. Everything we tasted has been delicious.
I love bringing my sweet father who is a Veteran here for our father daughter dates! He feels respected and honored to be in such a military celebrating environment. Be sure to ask about getting your Veteran a free dessert when you order!
Lovely place - I know it is a chain but it didn’t feel like it.
I loved the decorations of military and first responders photos and patches everywhere.
The BBQ was ok - wasn’t the best brisket I’ve eaten but was a good 4/5.
The sausage link was nice - again, 4/5
The ribs were ok - 4/5.
The sauces were also ok 4/5
The cornbread wasn’t too bad 3.5/5
The coleslaw was really nice 4.5/5
The fries were surprisingly good 4.5/5
I didn’t have the beans - my friend did.
What was noticeable was that people made sure we were taken care of, and were cleaning up and it was lovely to eat there.
I’d go again!
Cheers
The food was great. The sauces were fantastic. The host (Lillian) at the Jacksonville FL location was the best part of it! It was a treat to have her as a part of my first visit to Mission BBQ. She was super down to earth, and made sure to have me sample the bread pudding and other sauces. I bought 2 bottles on my way out.
Absolutely recommended!
This was by far our best experience in a Jax restaurant. We were never better treated.
Keila took our order with such patience that I was shocked. The staff was all so nice and friendly, the environment was light and happy.
Our food was AMAZING!
The chocolate pudding deluxe was actually one of the best desserts I ever had.
The smell from the parking lot got us to switch from a different restaurant. Originally from TX I have very high standards for BBQ so I will remember I’m not in TX. The spare ribs my husband had were delicious. Falling off the bone tender. The Pork & brisket were good. Nice smoked flavor. Would definitely order ribs if I go back.
I've heard a lot about Mission, so I decided to check them out. I went for lunch, and found the service pretty good, and while I got my food to go, the "atmosphere" was pleasant. The only problem I had, was for the price I paid, the quantity and quality of the food just wasn't there. I could have gone to another place that starts with a B(ono's), and gotten the same quality and quantity, for a good bit less. Sadly, Sonny's isn't around any more, or I could have gotten more, and better, food, for less.
Suffice it to say, while it was passable for what it was, I shan't be going back.
