Food was fresh & delish. The condiments left much to be desired. Ranch for the fried pickles was blaa and the cocktail sauce was vinerar-y. The hush puppies were buttery, crisp, and sweet. Service was super and accommodating. She let me put regular shrimp on the shrimp and grits as I do not care for jumbo shrimp. Portion size for price was very fair. So if you're not big on condiments, this is the place for you.
Blackened shrimp and grits. Very tasty. Ambiance is hole in the wall. Self serve, locals abound. Great combination of tastes and spices. I’ll be back (tomorrow)

Jr's seafood is always a good choice but I just had the grilled shrimp taco's!!! AMAZING. Who made the fresh salsa. the lime in there was so fresh you must have just made it. Shrimp were plump and juicy. Juniour's seafood is a good choice when your trying to eat healthy.
I had an amazing experience here. The staff was so friendly and so helpful. They went above and beyond. Thier operation was on point and they really knew Thier menu. All of thier sauces are homemade and incredible. The coleslaw is amazing. I ordered the coconut shrimp and it is a home run. Best I have ever had. This place is a true gem and I highly highly recommend!
This place is higher in price, but you get A LOT!!! There is so much of whatever you order. The baked potatoes are always great and they come with DAISY SOUR CREAM!!! I ask for my fried shrimp well done because I'm not crazy about that slightly underdone texture, but when it's well done.... Ohhhhh, man. Don't neglect the tartar sauce. It completes everything!
Friendly service!!!! GREAT food!!!! Ordered 4 different types( clam strips, shrimp,scallops, and blackened flounder) of seafood and ALL exceeded our expectations! Great taste not greasy. Fried pickles are yummy!!
It's the best seafood place in Jacksonville. The owner is is very nice, he always makes sure his customers r happy & his staff is amazing also. Tge food is amazing & you definitely get your money's worth. We always have to take food home, there's always so much we can never eat it all in 1 sitting.

Good Food on Both sides of The Building. I was informed that Junior's seafood has been open for 4 years now. This was my first time inside the place since it changed hands. I have been eating at the other side of the building at the sandwiches (every week or so) shop for about 30 years. I'm not a big fan of order by number. Then here's your food and it's all cook together in the same oil. I know it's all seafood but fish is fish and oysters are oysters. This food was pretty tasty. I could tell the difference between the different pieces. The shrimp were cook correctly and so was the oysters too. Now the fish was a little over done but not shoe leather yet. Now the place was packed at 2:30 in the afternoon and I was almost the youngest in there. Then it is Oceanway on the Northside. So maybe next time I stop in it might be a little harder choice on which side of the building to eat from.
Great food, great service! Very welcoming staff, we'll be back next time we're in town

I ordered the shrimp and grits w/blackened and it is so delicious. The grits was thiccc creamy and cheesy. The shrimp was flavorful and cooked perfectly. This sauce…whew! So far best shrimp and grits I have had. Sorry the pic doesn’t do it Justice cause I forgot and started eating.
What a great place to eat. I got the seafood sampler platter. Everything was really good. My wife got the grilled tilapia and enjoyed it. My kids got a chicken sandwich and a burger. Everything was good.
All the workers were very friendly and helpful.
I would go back anytime.
Went to Junior's Seafood on North Main. Honestly, the food turned out decently cooked and was served fast. The staff is VERY welcoming and will almost literally make you feel at home lol The fried seafood was great and the blackened wasn't tough at all, perfect texture and good taste.
Glad to see them back open! Gotta try them again.
We stopped in on a whim and were very glad that we did! Such friendly service from the moment we walked in til we were walking out the door. The food was ready in less than 10 minutes and was ALL hot and Delicious! We ordered appetizers only - crab cakes, popcorn shrimp, calamari (some of the best I've ever had), clam chowder, and fries.
The shrimp basket was very tasty. It would have been better if it had been cooked a tad bit longer. But I will visit again when I am in the city.
This place is awesome. I've been eating here for years (before and after the fire). Best shrimp, blacken Mahi, and coleslaw. If you're in the area, I highly recommend you stop by. Sometimes parking is an issue.
Just had lunch here! Crab cakes, fried Calamari, popcorn shrimp, clam chowder, collard greens, hush puppies and French fries.. I ordered with intent to take home the left overs.. Everything was PERFECT!! I would highly recommend the crab cakes, collard greens and Calamari.. Best I've ever had.. Thank you Tammy Lynn + Rudy

Wow! The food here is amazing. It was our first visit and the sweet waitress told us we wouldn't be disappointed... let me tell you, she was right! Can't wait to go back!
