They have a variety of food to choose from. You can get breakfast all day as well. Their cheese fries with bacon are awesome. Pancakes, Mozzarella Cheese Sticks, Gravy and biscuits, Hamburgers... Everything we have ordered, we have not been disappointed!

Good ol'fashion diner, with all day breakfast, and great lunch and dinner specials. The atmosphere was reminiscent of the old diner days that for the most part have gone by, but not here. We were met with friendly faces and great food. Also, don't forget to have dessert.

The Kettle Diner is a wonderful restaurant that is a MUST visit during your time in Jacksonville. The people, food, and service is beyond amazing. I was very skeptical when I first came here but after coming and trying out the service and food I was in love! The people here love their jobs, very interactive and knowledgeable on what they are serving. Great interactions every time. The quality of food has always been 5 out of 5. I would highly encourage everyone to come and try the Kettle Diner once in their lifetime. Again 5 out of 5 stars from me.

We parked & People were coming out as well as going in. We enter and the place is full of folks, plus more folks are coming in. So we know we made a good decision and are in the right place. Even though it's busy we are seated right away and our drink orders are taken immediately. It was great overall. Those are some of the best scrambled eggs I've ever had. It wasn't just our server that was a ACE, I saw all the other servers and workers being great at their job. Can't go wrong with a place that has a picture of Don Knotts (RF) on its wall, either.

My first time with the family here. Food was great but the service was amazing. My wife makes a better chicken parmigiana since she uses an entire breast. The chicken was cut and small but otherwise with the pasta, very filling. They have the 2nd best Mac & Cheese of Jacksonville and it was delicious. The salad was the freshest out of all the places and steak houses I’ve been to. Please order the cheese fries; wow, you will see why!!!

I can’t believe this is my first time here. All I can think of right now is all the times I could have come here instead of IHOP, Denny’s or Waffle House. The food was amazing. I can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. I definitely recommend this place.

Great service, extensive menu. We had the daily special which was meatloaf with two sides, Chicken parmasan with spaghetti and garlic bread. This place fills up fast. They serve breakfast all day which is rare. So stop on by and check them out. Came back for breakfast, it was excellent.

The "Kettle" as we locals refer to it is one of the best breakfast, lunch, and dinner eateries in all of Jacksonville, if not Onslow County.
The food is always good, hot/cold (depending on your selection), plentiful, and served graciously.
My wife, Donna, and I visit here quite often during the month and always bring visiting family here.

Pretty darn good, and I was pleasantly surprised by that. Diners are hit or miss for us, and I can say this one was a hit. I could tell how popular the location was just based on the sheet volume of customers. The food was pretty good, not the greatest food in the world but just good, solid food.
My husband had the Philly Cheesesteak. The meat was tender, and hot and fresh. The bun was well toasted. He also ordered onion rings that were pretty good too. Well made, just needed more seasoning.
I ordered the Club with ham and turkey. It was very yummy! The ratio of meat to bread to condiments was perfect. I had the fries, which were indeed steak fries. Could have been a little crispier. Also needed more seasoning.
Kiddos had breakfast items, youngest had silver dollars (one was a cute Mickey shaped pancake!) and the oldest had Four Deuces. They split the eggs and bacon. The pancakes were fluffy, and the eggs and protein were good. The eggs needed a bit of salt.
The service was quick, everything was hot and fresh, and overall a great place to eat. Thanks for the good dinner, Kettle Diner!

It's no secret that The Kettle Diner has great food, prices and staff. But I just wanna make this loud and clear to all - DO NOT SLEEP ON THE LASAGNA! You may not think of Italian food from a diner but theirs is pretty amazing.

🥓The food was pretty good. The service was pretty good. Had to ask for utensils as our food came. Coffee was OK. Decor seems to fit a different type of food 🧇. Husband makes an incredible breakfast so it is tough for me to rank anyone else's cooking as good as his. 🥞 We also compared it to two other restaurants of similar fare that we love - one in California and one in Idaho. ☕️Will go back sometime I'm sure and will update if there is reason to.🍳 Oh! 55 is a Senior!🧑🏻🦳👵🏼
