The line can be intimidating (especially on a Saturday morning) but it moves very quickly and well worth the wait! You can also call ahead your order and skip the line to pick it up.
They open early (5:30AM) so if you want to avoid the line, get there before 7AM.

So many great reviews, my expectations were high. These are just my opinions. Prices are good. Donuts are good, but not the best donuts I've ever had. Imho.
1. Apple cinnamon donuts were great. Plenty of apple, nice frosting, soft donut.
2. Glazed, soft, not too sweet Very good.
3. Crescent donuts were heavy and the frosting a bit on the sweet side. If you like a heavier sweet donut, this is for you. The non-frosted ones = less sweet
4. Cherry donut holes - heavy and sweet, cherry flavor wasn't great. Adding real cherries would be so much better.

THE BEST DOUGHNUTS AND BAKED GOOD EVER! Your mouth will thank you! The very best long john IMO is the lemon filled with chocolate frosting! I love this is family owned and family oriented (closed for holidays) I miss not being able to get them when my son and his family come home for Christmas. I understand though but he would love to have them share a taste of his childhood as well! I wish I could score higher than a 5!!!

Better than most donuts in Michigan to be honest. It’s hard to explain, but in general, the quality of donuts is lower in southern Michigan. Donuts are often too dense, overcooked, and the frosting is blobbed on and does not coat the fried dough. Hinckley Bakery does a much better job than most. I would describe their donuts as homemade. It is like your mother or grandma whipped up some donuts in the kitchen. Great, but not the best I have ever had.

Their donuts are excellent. And so are the oatmeal cranberry cookies. The reason for the three star rating is their completely unpaved parking lot looks like a war zone with giant potholes and mud
