The line can be intimidating (especially on a Saturday morning) but it moves very quickly and well worth the wait! You can also call ahead your order and skip the line to pick it up.
They open early (5:30AM) so if you want to avoid the line, get there before 7AM.

THE BEST DOUGHNUTS AND BAKED GOOD EVER! Your mouth will thank you! The very best long john IMO is the lemon filled with chocolate frosting! I love this is family owned and family oriented (closed for holidays) I miss not being able to get them when my son and his family come home for Christmas. I understand though but he would love to have them share a taste of his childhood as well! I wish I could score higher than a 5!!!
Better than most donuts in Michigan to be honest. It’s hard to explain, but in general, the quality of donuts is lower in southern Michigan. Donuts are often too dense, overcooked, and the frosting is blobbed on and does not coat the fried dough. Hinckley Bakery does a much better job than most. I would describe their donuts as homemade. It is like your mother or grandma whipped up some donuts in the kitchen. Great, but not the best I have ever had.
