Tulum has freshly prepared Mexican food. It is a lot of food for the money. If you want a different meat or if you want to add a meat to their vegetarian taco’s, they can do it. I love the tacos with Carne Asada and their Mango tea. You can eat inside or there is also outdoor seating.

Tulum is our favorite place. Great price, great food, and great portion size. Love this place. Want to tell you about the customer service I received today.
Waited almost 40 mins. Placed my order at 7:51pm. At 8:29 I asked the lady if I was going to get my food. (38 mins later) she goes back to the counter to ask the lady that took my order. I guess the paper went out in the back and they didn’t get it. It was an honest mistake. They said they were sorry and made our food. Im not a person that asks for a discount or even comp my food. I know stuff happens and we come here a lot and has alway been fast and great food. When she brought my food out she apologized and gave us a $25 gift card. They didn’t have to do that and I told her I was fine. She insisted that I take it for the inconvenience. Thank you for the customer service! I love eating at tulum!

First time trying this ever and I have to say I was very disappointed. When you think authentic Mexican, you think flavor ,si? Well absolutely no flavor and the fajita quesadilla were full of cheese hardly no meat. The salsa taste like crushed tomatoes out of a can. Again no flavor at all. I have to say the meat was good and that’s why I gave them 2 stars but no seasoning at all. My husbands shrimp was rubbery and fish tacos were hard. I was going to try one more time , but my mom taught me that if the salsa is not good , then don’t try again . So this will be the last time I will ever be back.

Disappointed. This place used to have exceptional food and service. My visit tonight was a complete letdown. The employees on the service line barely put down their cellphones long enough to take my order, there was a cook on the line in the kitchen eating, and while I was trying to eat my wet, greasy "socal burrito" the server actually swept under my table. The beans were cold, the rice crunchy, and the "salsa bar" not stocked. I got no check-back after my food was put on the table and had to get up to retrieve my own silverware. Not good! Not good at all....

Normally, for me, they're a 4 or 5 star experience. Today was between 2 and 3. The asada in my soggy chimichanga had no flavor. I couldn't even finish my meal. It was also VERY hot inside the restaurant. I don't like sweating indoors while eating. I get they probably had some A/C issue. The saving grace for today was the elote.

We have eaten here multiple times without ever having a bad experience. Every dish Ive ordered has been amazing. If you have never been, the fish tacos come HIGHLY recommended.

Tulum is one of the most fresh restaurants in Jackson. They also take care of their customers! My wife and I are regulars and have never had an issue at all. Tonight, they were absolutely swamped. My food came out, but my wife's food didn't come out for about twenty minutes. One of the managers came out, thanked us for our business, apologized, and gave us a voucher for a free meal. Such a class act. Support your local businesses!

Good food. Good prices. But we won’t be back! We came in from Memphis to see a Jackson Generals game and forgot to use the coupon that we had. However we were still eating in the restaurant and they wouldn’t allow us to apply the coupon. We definitely would have come back but not now. Way to go Tulum, what a way to treat out of towners coming for a special event on a teachers budget.

Any place that has burritos stuffed with shrimp, crushed nachos, and french fries AND serves a good variety of cold beer is aces in my book. Their habanero dip will set you on fire. They also have an interesting mango sweet tea.
