Authentically Southern cooking from the ham hocks and pig ear sandwiches to the smothered fried chicken with yams and greens that I ate. Recognized as a James Beard Classic with good reason. All the food was delicious. This is a clean and well run (yes, funky) place at the heart of Jackson's foodie scene. Must-go.

Heard about this place from the locals. Am Georgia born and raised, in Mississippi for business. Heard they are the best soul food in Jackson. Everything was good from the dressing, mac and cheese baked chicken, collard greens. I definitely will be checking them out if I visit Mississippi again.

Checking out some REAL southern soul food 😋 with serious southern hospitality! Hands down the ABSOLUTE BEST greens I've ever had! The meatloaf was perfection and the gravy had just the right amount of hot sauce.... I ate every bit of it all!!! Then sealed the deal with peach AND blackberry cobbler!! If you're ever in Jackson, MS, you MUST come eat at Bully's. It'll be the best soul food you can find!!

It was worth the journey to get here. The food was so delicious and I know whenever I travel this way again, I will return. The owner was nice and personable. Not a long wait for my catfish to be fried hard.

Absolutely delicious! I had the Oxtails, with dressing, greens and Mac and cheese, the oxtail was so tender and flavourful, my daughter had Fried chicken legs and Mac and cheese, as you can see she loved it ☺️ Also had the strawberry shortcake, one of the best I've ever had!

Stopped here on a road trip and couldn’t have picked a better spot. Any soul food restaurant that has pig feet as one of the first entrees on the menu is legit! We had the fried chicken (fried fresh on the spot, let me tell you), fried okra, mac n cheese, and yams. The sweet tea brought back memories of my late grandmother’s sweet tea, and the homemade lemonade was delicious. The owners were super sweet and even brought out some extra goodies for our kids to eat. Next time I’m in Jackson, I definitely plan on coming back!! You will not regret a meal here. So cool that they were featured in Garden & Gun, too!

Heard great things about this restaurant. Soul food restaurant with no macaroni & cheese or okra???
No sweet tea or unsweetened. No lemonade. Mashed potatoes were grainy and lukewarm. Pork chop was nicely seasoned and very tender. Good thing because the utensils are plastic.
