We were here 8 years ago and couldn’t stop talking about how fabulous the food was plus the ambiance and wait staff were awesome! We finally were able to be back in the area and Merry Piglets was at the must do portion of our trip! Every dish is always so delicious! Heather was fabulous! We enjoy the decor also! Keep up the great work!!!
This has been my favorite place to go for years! We started eating at merry piglets when they were in a little spot down across from where the wild bills melodrama used to be years ago. I have followed them to four different places! Excellent food! The cheese crisp is my favorite!
Service was great, food was also great, and the design theme was super fun with a lot of Mexican inspiration and artwork with piglets like the restaurant's namesake. It is definitely Tex-Mex, so don't be totally expecting a traditional Mexican experience, but they definitely did a great job. I would highly recommend.
Nice little Tex-mex place. Used the join the waitlist on Google maps. Had a 6 - 16 minute wait and only took 6 on a busy Wednesday. We shared the Bueno Nachos with ground beef between 2 people. And also the small queso. Food was quick and tasted good. Lots of cheese layers in the nachos. They have 2 bathrooms for women (senoras and senoritas). Server was nice and made recommendations when we asked what to get. We weren’t super hungry at the time so we went with an appetizer. Prices are expected for tourist town. Would eat there again.
One of the best Mexican food in Jackson town. Very busy place even during weekdays in the summer months, I would recommend coming in and get in line. There is no online or over the phone reservation. We were group of 16 and the accommodated us very well (around 25-30 min wait on Tuesday evening at 6 pm). Service was great. Even the kids loved the food. Out of all, my favorite was flaming, sizzler type fajitas and chipotle sauce on the side !! Their Tax-Max bowl is awesome too. It has a street parking but busy place and took about five or 10 minutes to find a spot. I would visit this again when back in Jackson town.
We had the nachos and queso dip. The nachos were great there was more than just toppings on top it was layered and the queso was good with a large portion. Service was on point we didn’t have to ask or wait for anything. Do join the waitlist online to save time.
Nice restaurant with good vibes and ambience !! Plenty of seating and quick service of food !! Delicious Mexican food especially the mahi mahi tacos !! The veggie burrito was a little bland !!
A really good meal. Chips and salsa were fantastic for starters. I had the Piglet Sampler, an "old school" taco, an enchilada, and one mini chimichanga all stuffed with shredded beef topped with a mild sour cream sauce. Every bite was delicious. Our server was really nice and attentive as well.
Had a late night arriving flight and managed to get in 3 minutes to closing but the host was so kind and welcoming in helping me choose quickly for a Togo order. Ended up with the carne asada quesadilla and he also swapped out the beans for rice. Even though the quesadilla was cold, he included a fresh hot bag of chips and salsa so honestly for a last minute meal this was a dream come true.
Yummy warm chips with salsa to start with. Good service, good story about the name Merry Piglets that were merry because at one time pork was not eaten - excellent artwork everywhere, lively atmosphere.
OK YUM. The shredded chicken classic tacos I had were out-of-this world juicy and flavor packed. Amazing portions of meat and delicious choices such as fried avocado tacos. Variety of tequilas and other alcohol. OUR WAITER WAS SOOO NICE 🤩🤩
We have eaten here many times over the years. This time did not disappoint. Try the spicy margarita for a delicious twist. The guacamole and salsa were the perfect appetizer before our main courses of Pig Sampler and Relleno and Enchilada plates.
