Food was delicious and service was great. Be aware that this inside (basically in a hallway!) So this isn't a cozy spot or a romantic spot, just an efficient and tasty breakfast spot with great house made touches.

Food was solid! So many locally sourced ingredients. And very reasonable priced. Staff was so so sweet and helpful, on top of refilling coffee, asking how our food was.

One of the most delicious breakfast places in Ithaca. It's located in the hallway of the mall so it's hard to call it quaint. The service quite slow and it takes quite a bit of time to get a table. The egg plates are fantastic and the coffee is good.
While the cafe has table service, you will still have to pay at the register. The restrooms are part of the mall and you will need to ask for the key to get in.

Had a fantastic experience with Ben from CD. I wanted a lunch catered for my brother’s bachelor party and they came through for us.
Ben even went shopping and put together a few special sandwiches that were no longer on the menu.
Fantastic customer service and everything was delicious.

If you are visiting Ithaca or are looking for a new place to go, stop here! While you wait for seating you can look at the menu or the specials written on the board. Be sure to check their Instagram to see what is new too! The waiters were quick and accommodating. My husband and I do not eat meat and they were quick to make some suggestions for us as an alternative. You can see the chefs making the food in the back as you wait too! The food came out quickly and was fantastic. Their herbed mayo and jam were incredible- even the scrambled eggs alone were scrumptious. The desert was also amazing- we had a strawberry buttercream cake. The piece was huge! The taste was sweet but not overpowering. I could have eaten the buttercream by itself it was so good. Support the local business when you visit! We cannot wait to go back.

Great food and friendly service. Eggs, ham, bread and even jam are locally sourced. If you forgot how the real food tastes, do visit this small and unassuming place. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Enjoyed our breakfast at Cafe Dewitt. I haven't been back in about 15 years, and it is still a solid choice for breakfast or lunch. While the service/arrival of food took a bit, it was great to be back and the food was worth the wait! If you are looking for a breakfast or lunch place, I recommend Cafe Dewitt.
