A great place for a date night for two or a family gathering, River City Grill really delivers. The newly remodeled space is contemporary yet cozy. The menu selection is outstanding. Specialty cocktails, an extensive wine list, and a rotating selection of craft beers on tap don't disappoint!
Excellent menu - presentation and food fantastic. Service was great. Beautiful atmosphere. Had been once before for brunch and went back last week for our wedding anniversary. Highly recommend
If I could give River City Grill more than five stars I would. I love their menu.
They have an extensive children's menu and offer family style dishes as well.
There's really something for everyone.
One of my favorite things to get there is their salad with salmon. It has some soft Italian cheese, pistachios, artichoke hearts and a delicious dressing. The salmon is always cooked perfectly. It's one of my favorite items especially for a light summer meal. I always order it with a side of roasted cauliflower. There really isn't anything that I've had that I didn't love. We've dined in, and I've taken out. Both are equally as good.
The service is excellent. The staff is very friendly, professional, and accommodating. Highly recommend you give them a try if you've never been.

4.5 star food, 4.5 star atmosphere, but 5 star service (wait staff was crazy on point - attentive, funny, unobtrusive, good recommendations). The menu felt a bit tight and was not particularly creative but everything my party had here was well received. The wine list is also nice with a lot of fun bottles to pick from from various regions. Definitely give it a look.

Don’t miss this place! Go. Go now and ask for KC. This comfortable, clean, courteous (call it the three C’s...) restaurant tucked in the downtown strip in Irvington hosts an ever-changing menu of special specials and desserts that are very, well...special!
I went with a client for a business lunch and the meal did a lot more than fill our bellies. It provided an opportunity for great conversation and, with KC coming out of the kitchen to personally go over the specials with us, a memorable experience that is suited for business lunches, dates, or just a social dinner with friends.

Great food and a great atmosphere! Me and a couple friends stopped by while passing through Irvington on a road trip. We were delighted by the service - the staff were very attentive and took care of all our needs. The food was just as great as the service. We highly recommend the Meatball appetizer. We will definitely be stopping here again if we ever find ourselves back in Irvington!
What a delightful surprise!!!! When we couldn't get seated at a local wine bar, we stumbled upon this little gem around the corner. Though our expectations were not stellar since it does sit on a busy road, we were enormously surprised. The patio was sheltered from the road and with the pipped in music we completely missed the road sounds. Great vibe. We ordered drinks and appys and were floored by how delicious and plentiful they were. Frankly, if we didn't have an hour drive home ahead of us we would've stayed for another round. Service was very attentive and pleasant without hovering over us. we'll definitely return.
