My food is always good. I typically order my food online to go and it is generally always ready when I arrive. My only dislike is that all of the staff just stare at you when you walk in. No one greets you, they don't look away or avoid eye contact, they don't even pretend to be busy. They don't even respond to questions.. I get a milkshake once or twice a week and this has been the case like 10 or more times. they just straight-up stare at you and don't say a word. Big smiles though š It's very strange

Awesome throw back to the original steak and shake! Fantastic old school feel with amazing fresh made steak burgers and, uh, yes I'll smash an awesome shake with that! Very clean, great restaurant!!

This place is so great now. It used to be awful. Slow. Not very tasty. Terrifying at night. Then they closed and reopened and holy cow. Welcome to 2023, Steak n Shake. I love you.
Order at a kiosk. Receive your accurate, delicious food very quickly from a smiling staff member. Sit and eat in the clean dining room until 10pm! Fear not being riddled with bullet holes.
Places like this seem to only ever get worse and then go away, but Steak N Shake got with it and lives on.
Whoever took the reigns with this one, thank ya! Sittin here eating a double with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle and Mayo with a Barqās is one of my happy places.

Surprisingly quick service, but we did go on a Thursday.
You basically walk in and order everything you want on your own using a kiosk screen of sorts at the front counter.
Then they call your number to pickup your food at a table near the kitchen window.
Fountain drinks and condiments are self serve for the most part.
Menu is somewhat limited compared to what Iām used to, and I donāt believe they honor special deals advertised or coupons, but I could definitely be wrong.
All in allā¦ the experience as a whole was less painful than originally expected, and thatās coming from a mom that went to dinner with āgrandmaā and my 3 kids (2, 5 & 8).

Today 10/27/18 I had a great experience at this location!! I think maybe the manager was working the window but even tho it took longer than usual to get my food .. it was worth the wait :) My burger and fries were great and the gentleman who took my order was very kind!! I can tell he really cared about exceptional service and making people smile :)

I love coming here. This location has great service and the manager is always willing to help. She took me through an entire order at the kiosk to show me how the machine prices change. While also showing me how to pay and which machine takes cash or card. Thank you for your kindness and dedication.

Went here tonight for a quick Halloween dinner after a busy day. The food was super fresh and tasty. The restaurant was spotless. The manager greeted us and brought us our food. The manager was very friendly and welcoming. We had a stressful day and his service put is in a better mood! He needs a raise!

Friday about 12:30PM no wait, for dine-in order at kiosk only but easy to navigate. Food brought to us, correct and hot. Good quality and value. Dining room bright and clean.

2nd time here in 2 days and their food did not disappoint. Most places are hit or miss so I'm not sure of everyone else's experience. Fries were mid though. Hopefully the chain experiments with them because they just seem too bland in flavor.
