Five star food in a rough location. Hands down I guarantee u have never had Mexican like this
Octopus and shrimp cocktail is pretty good there.
Looking for a good fish taco? This is the right place! The shrimp tacos looked pretty amazing, too. Nothing fancy but delicious food and extremely nice servers.
Walked in on a whim and were pleasantly amazed. The menu is mostly in Spanish but the staff was super helpful in translating. Definitely not your standard Mexican fare. I had the red snapper with a delicious sauce and my wife had the fajitas mextus. Both were wonderful. The table next to us we're served this bubbling stone cauldron full of crabs, shrimp, mussels, oysters, etc that looked and smelled awesome. I'm going back for some of that!
Good Seafod, Mexican Style. Was unsure about this place due to it being so new, and the fact that it specializes in seafood.
We were pleasantly surprised! It's not an upscale sushi place -- think more beach house in Mexico. Fresh fish, great drinks.
If you go: order the shrimp ceviche and their excellent seafood stew (molcajete korita). The later is enough to feed like 3 people! It had clams, oysters, crab, shrimp, scallops in a tasty broth.
Skip the tacos -- they're OK but definitely not the specialty here. Guacamole is chunky but lacking heat.
Fabulous meal! Don't eat the salsa unless you truly love very hot stuff. It is mostly habeneros. I ordered a talapia filet stuffed with shrimp, scallops, octopus, mushrooms and peppers doused with a bit of queso blanco. Heavenly. But the margarita was oddly made with club soda and I wish I sent it back, since it was $7. Very pleasant and attentive staff.
Loved it. My husband and I enjoyed our Sunday lunch at La Casa de Los Mariscos very much. The menu is almost completely fish and the prepared dishes looked amazing. We're not fish lovers and I told the waitress that immediately so she recommended the Carne Asada, which I ordered, and my husband ordered Chicken Fajitas. We also ordered guacamole, which was excellent. and the food was very good, served with corn tortillas, which I prefer over the normal flour tortillas.
The music was very loud, but not annoying--you could talk over it without shouting-- and it was actually a friendly party atmosphere. We were the only non-Latino patrons for a while, and business was brisk, but we felt very welcome and just enjoyed the food and the fiesta. We're definitely going back!
Great place, you feel like you are next to the beach some where. The service is outstanding verry friendly people they make you feel welcome every time.
As part of a party of five we had lunch on Sunday, March 3, 2013. The food, the service, the atmosphere, and the place were all very good. A good way to see that Mexican food is not only rice and beans. Both English and Spanish menus are available, and the staff speaks both English and Spanish. I don't know if it was because it was Sunday, but there were Mariachis, which added to the atmosphere. I recommend it.
My new favorite lunch spot. House made chips are amazing! Food was very tasty with lots of options. This felt like a real Mexican diner, not your typical American-ized place. Will definitely be back!!
Great prices, big food portions. Nice place to take your family. I visit them at least 2 times a month
Best ceviche I’ve had in a long time. Strongly recommend.
Exelent service, great food, nice and clean restaurant
Very fast service. And the food was excellent.
Excellent flavor. Meal size is filling.
Good scallop ceviche and robust seafood caldo
