Review Donatos Pizza - Indianapolis

I am old-school. I like it when I can call up a spot directly, place my order, then dip by to pick it up. So, I was surprised when I found out the number I called was a call center. But, the whole process was smoother than I thought. I made the call and stopped by on my way home from work. I was greeted when I entered, even though people were back in the kitchen, and also had to add something to my order at the last minute. They adjusted my order with no problem. I received my pizza hot, and well cooked. I don't live on the Southside, but I'd make a special trip for these guys! Well done.

Edit: There have been a few issues in the past but today they made it right! All the food tasted very good except for the BBQ sauce on the wings but that's not the store's fault that my family did not like it. Normally we get mild sauce but last time the mild sauce was HOT!! Asked for extra Italian dressing on sandwich, did not receive it. Manager called and said he talked to employee who made my sandwich and they claim they put extra dressing on it. Don't eat here because if they mess up your order they will call you a liar!!!

So, I wanna say sry that I'm slacking, and didn't take any pics!!! The chicken mariachi Pizza was amazing!¡!¡! It's been a lil while since I've eaten anything with some spice... So, I did have to get some extra sour cream to put on it!! However, the pizza was still so amazingly good!! I didn't realize that there was a Donatos so close to the house! I will continue to go back!! The gentleman that helped me, was extremely nice and helpful! The pizza had just come out of the oven, and it was so hot and good!¡!¡! My husband wanted some extra jalapenos on it, but I thought it was just right!! 😉

Always love donatos pizza. However, I ordered online to pick it up at the window and the drive thru employee had me pull around to wait. He then forgot about me for an extra 25 minutes while he was on the phone. I ended up going in and getting my pizzas. The food is always good. The service can be better.

The restaurant was totally dead inside which has nothing to do with much I suppose, HOWEVER its my humblest opinion that a "good" restaurant has customers? Anyways, we got a medium pizza, 2 entrée salads and 2 22oz drinks..total was around $35 which isn't too bad for a dine in. I really enjoyed the pizza and the salads were pretty decent. They were typical salads of course where at least 1/3 of the bowl is inedible "core" pieces of a lettuce head (hard). Overall for the price and the pizza I would order the pizza again for sure. I might skip the salad but like I said, most places fill the bowl with the inedible lettuce bits so what can you do...they do let you pick your own salad dressing which is nice!

I love Donatos Pizza! We don't have Donatos back home in Texas, so I try to get their pizza every time I am in Indianapolis. Love their thin crust, squared slices. The DoorDash transaction went smoothly.

I thought about trying a new location that the service would be different I said at the window for about five minutes while the workers looked at me while I looked at them then finally a young lady came to the window to get my order ready because I had pre-ordered it online so all I really needed to do was pay for it then leave when I got my pizza the pizza was burnt and the bread sticks were lukewarm I won't be visiting again... It has been over 3 weeks since the managed told me to contact him... He still has not reacted out to me even after telling to send my contact information... Sad from Aug 23 to Sept 20, 2017 no contact.... Bad for business!

Ordered online, went to pick it up,Was told the pizza was in the oven & was about done. brought it home..literally less than 5min away..it was Cold , not cooked all the way,but had burnt pepperoni..which i don’t get why an under cooked pizza has burnt pepperoni on it. Took it back and the girl told my husband it’s because they forgot to put the pepperoni on and put it on last minute which makes no sense what so ever. Being almost 20.00 for one pizza you expect it to be somewhat decent, this is the second time in a row we have had bad pizza at this location.

After a really bad experience we left some feedback and are still waiting for a simple apology. Seriously Donatoes what are you waiting for. It’s been over 2 months and still no one has responded. I’m tired of eating dominos and such. Get it together and give us a response!!!!!

Horrible customer service!!!! Called the store when my pizza was 30min late and the guy that answered never apologized just said that it will be there anytime.. Driver shows up 45mins late again no apologize and the pizza was cold !!! Next time I will go some where else..

I don't really complain about food places but this is ridiculous. Ordered pizza from Donatos Madison & Edgewood and paid for two extra sauces. Pizza was delivered with no extra sauces. So I call and they say well we can credit you or have someone deliver it. Well we ordered it for a reason so yeah we want it. The lady then says well it'll be about 30 minutes.....I live 10 minutes away. 40 minutes later and we still haven't received the two cheese cups. Well the pizza and breadsticks are cold now so thanks. Terrible.

Placed an order online. Didn't go through. Call the store to see if my cc was charged. Sat through 30 minutes of hold music before I asked to speak to a manager and was put on hold for 10 minutes and hung up. Called back, finally got manager, didn't apologize, hung up. Awful.
