Best spot to have a delicious $11 lunch buffet M-F that always delivers!! I highly recommend eating here!
Big meat pizza was excellent along with cold beer. Service was fast and friendly. We will be back.
AMAZING place! The thin crust pizza was delicious and the bread sticks were the best (seriously, don't walk out of this place without trying their bread sticks). Staff was super fun & friendly, & honestly gave this place it's true character. My husband had been to the previous pizza place that used to be there & he agreed that this pizza was a big improvement. Feels like a pizza place I could come to time & time again and the staff would remember me by name. Highly recommend.
Yeah, it's not the same Chicago style pizza that used to be there, but it's not bad. I enjoyed the deep dish we ordered last night, and the staff was incredibly friendly. It's no longer run by the psycho owner that used to be there, so I'm no longer afraid to walk in. The decor is so bland though, and there's no music or sports to drown out the awkward silence! My only critique is to make it more inviting lol
Virginia Avenue Pizza Co. is great. I went during their lunch buffet. It wasn’t crowded and it has a very simplistic atmosphere. It’s in the same place as South of Chicago pizza was and this place is just as good, if not better. They have both hand tossed and deep dish pizza on the buffet along with a side item that rotates daily. Will definitely be coming back!
I was walking and saw the cute chalkboard outside advertising the pizza by the slice. The place was clean and the girls up front was very friendly and welcoming. My food came out quickly and it was very delicious. I will definitely be back.
Great, friendly service and delicious, no-frills veggie pizza. It's nice to have a comfy, simple pizza joint amidst so many high-concept/pricey places opening across the city. A breathe of fresh air.
Was downtown and came here for lunch. Lunch buffet was on point. Pizza was premo, calzone, meatballs, sauage, and great salad bar. Both myself and my coworker agree that this place is a great find and worth coming back to often whenever we can. Pricing was good value too.
Lunch buffet is incredible value. $11 for all you can eat pizza, pasta, bread sticks, salad, and other goodies. People here are always nice and helpful.
Virginia Avenue Pizza Company is in the same location as the (now defunct) South of Chicago. The menu is similar, but improved, as is the interior. Highly recommend!
