This joint is a diner. It started out as a donut shop and gradually it grew into a full-fledged diner. I have had their donuts before, and they are some of the best in the city. So I decided to see what else they had to offer. Their prices are more than reasonable, such as fried mushrooms are $2.99. For that money I figured they had to be the pull from a bag and drop in the fryer kind. But they weren’t.
I had a positive experience. I just stopped in to try their donuts, since I am on a quest to try the donut shops in Indy. I ordered an apple fritter and a chocolate cake, with a small coffee. Although the fritter isn't technically a donut it fit in with the motif well. It was a huge glazed confection filled with apples for $1.50 I guess they have 3 different chocolate donuts. A chocolate laced cake with or without chocolate icing and a regular cake with chocolate icing. I received the latter. It wasn't what I expected but it was pretty good and only cost 79 cents. They also serve hot breakfasts and lunch. It is more a diner with donuts than just a plain donut shop. A nice little joint
Great food for a great price. The eggs were cooked perfectly.
Yay donuts!. The donuts are great. I'm a fan of the honey dip, chocolate angel and bavarian cream. That much being said, they are all I've had at this place...apart from the bubble tea. It makes me giggle that they have a leprechaun figurine next to their budda and lucky cat. It's a fun, quirky, lovable little place, if somewhat crowded.
Good homemade american food it's not Wow must go but it's good and cheap
Best French toast and twist donuts. I LOVE their french toast. Best I've ever had. my husband is addicted to their twist donuts. Great breakfast but don't forget your cash.
Early evening meal. Quick stop for yummy American food. Grilled cheese was like I expected nothing too fancy here. However it was after 3 when we went and I don't recommend the donuts that late.
Awesome donuts, good breakfast. Quirky little diner. Love it.
Amazing omelets. As far as donuts go Donuts shops are not breath taking, but the cheese steak omelet i had was near the top on my charts! I highly recommend dining there and just skipping the donut part.
ALL YOUR FOOD ARE BELONG TO US.

Donut Shop = PURE AWESOMENESS. Their delicious doughnuts are soft, sweet, and gooey. (Chocolate Angel--rock my sox much?!?) Haven't yet found one kind of doughnut that I didn't love wholeheartedly. Biscuits and gravy--The best I've had in years. I {HEART} You, Donut Shop!!
(The cash-only thing is SO not a big of a deal... Whatevz.)
I visited the donut shop today because I love their glazed yeast donuts. I also had lunch today. The chicken BLT salad was my choice. Their garlic toast is a wonderful side to the salad, which features mixed greens chicken a boiled egg and bacon. I was so satisfied after the meal that I saved my donut for later. They close at 4, so try them early in the morning for fresh pastries!

How have I not been here before? Omg 😲, well If you didn’t know today is national donut day and I had to celebrate. I essentially enjoy any type of donut, and just had to acknowledge the day.
I have been driving past the donut shop since I started at my current job. It always seems to be very busy, which is awesome. I did some research, glad I did because it’s cash only.
So many options! You can just walk right in, pick out donuts from the wall; and check out. Ps this place is cash only!
I got a classic sprinkle one, which was delicious! As well as a double chocolate one, and a lemon filled one because I decided to glutton out!
It looks like you can also get your traditional breakfast, so I’ll have to go back and try it.
The left side has booths and a bar top, and to the right there is also plenty of seating. Awesome place! Only spent 3 dollars
Best Doughnuts in Indianapolis period. Moist, not to sweet, and good prices. They run out fast, so go early. Cash only.
Delicious! Cash only and they serve food. I woke up wanting a maple, bacon donut. Searching maps, I found this place. I asked if they had maple bacon donuts. The lady said I can make them for you. So asked how many and when I wanted them. I said 6 and told her I could be there in 20 minutes. She said ok.
There were some locals who said they eat here all the time and said that it's very good. I will be back.
One of the best and cheapest breakfast places in Indy. The Donut Shop is a local business that has been around for decades, and it hasn't changed much that entire time. The donuts are delicious and they have plenty of breakfast and lunch options. The food is always good and inexpensive. Service is always consistent. This place has been a staple my whole life.
Great tasty food, unbelievably cheap! Coffee is great, donut oven was broken while I was here so no donuts to sample. Worth a try!
I love having breakfast on Sunday afternoons after church here with my peeps. The food is nicely priced, the 🍩 donuts are tasty and the service is quick. Love it like a quant hometown diner.

Good home style meals. Large portions. Donuts. Cash only
The breakfast sandwhichs are great! They have a maple and bacon crumb donut on the weekends which is to die for. They have a large selection of donuts and very reaosnably priced breakfast specials.
The Donut shop is small, but delicious. The shop may not look like much, but it's certainly a gem. The food is reasonably priced and decent quality for the cost.
Donuts are what this place is known for, but stick around for the service and a more wholesome breakfast. This place has your typical breakfast/diner food, but they do a fantastic job with simple ingredients. I know the rule is to never eat the fish at a diner, but I dared to give it a go. I was not disappointed.
The service is fantastic. Everyone there is sweet and straightforward. You never find a Chatty Cathy, but they certainly take care of you.
I believe these folks are still cash only, so don't come in expecting to pay with card!
