In a hurry? They can get you in and out in 25 minutes.. Kudos to Joe's for the fast, understanding griddlemeister and waitress for accommodating my friend and my's request to have a super fast lunch. We had to go watch "Interstellar" in IMAX, you see, and I highly recommend you to go see that too.
I asked them which dishes would be the quickest and the house-made meatloaf was option one, but they also claimed that any of their sandwiches would also fit the bill. I elected to get the Reuben and my friend got their BLT. The BLT was massive with two thick stacks of bacon stacked on it. My Reuben had more pastrami on it than many typical restaurants do, so that was a big plus with me. The sauerkraut wasn't the normal fermented cabbage kind, but instead, that cream-cheesy kind of sauerkraut which is kind of off-putting to most people. The sandwich was darn good though.
This place has a burger challenge which I didn't focus on too much, but was interesting enough for me to want to venture back again. Joe's is the typical diner that does everything right and is extremely clean with friendly service. What more could you want?
Excellent Food & Service with 50's Nostalgia!. Always wanted to try this place and finally got a chance. We had the burgers and giant hot dog. All were very good tasting. They even have a charbroiler to give the burgers that excellent taste! Our server was extremely nice and attentive! This place serves breakfast too, so we visited it the next morning and had a great tasting breakfast! Finally a local place that knows how to truly make hashbrowns, crusty on the outside, soft on the inside, and oh so buttery tasting. This little diamond in the rough just became one of our favorites.... Pics included!
