We have always had great food and service the margaritas could be more consistent on taste but over all we have never had a bad experience. Now the one in beech grove on the other hand I will never go back to. And don't recommend.

I really loved this place. My food was delicious and I didn’t even have to wait long for it. Portions are very nice, it was just a little bit pricey but it worth it. Very friendly people and professional service.

Not Today

LOVE the margaritas and homemade salsa! The meals were hot and fresh! Recently updated all of the chair fabrics and tables! VERY NICE! Will definitely be back!

Service is always great! Stopped by for lunch, the server was friendly and very attentive! She checked in on us regularly, as did the manager. Peaceful atmosphere, music wasn't too loud. Food was amazing!

Since twin peaks want to charge $10 to watch the fight we came to el meson. Great service even though individual beers should of been suggested since cheaper that day then pitcher. Either way. It was good

The food was good! Staff was friendly and welcoming. Quick service and nicely decorated. It's better to dine in because you can get drinks when you stay inside and even bigger portions. We even got complimentary chips and salsa. Ask for extra seasoning if you like the meat to have that extra flavor because I DO! It was good, still just like that but a little extra seasoning, I would've gone back the next day!

I come here with a friend every now and again. Food is good overall and the price is right. Their salsa was a little watery this time around.

For being super busy we were sat immediately. Chips and salsa were dropped off as soon as we sat down. The waiter luis was extremely kind and faster than hell. I highly tecomend this place. The designs inside are unique and cool to look at. Unlike any other mexican spot ive been to before.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant! The food is just delicious. They are always so fast and food is hot. Oh and Luis is just the best server.

I have allergies and I called prior to coming out to this restaurant. The reason I called is because another Mexican Restaurant (You can see in my reviews) was totally unaccepting of my allergies and literally told me to leave and they wouldn't serve me. But when I went to El Meson, I was greeted with open arms and they treated me great. They were so concerned about the allergy that the waiter saw another waiter bringing my chips (I have a corn derivative allergy) that he rushed over to let me know they were corn. They were for my partner not me :P. So I told him wouldn't touch them. The food was delicious and the place was so clean and the atmosphere really good too. This is now my Mexican Restaurant of choice and I will go there when my Mexican food craving pops up. Which is pretty often. There are several locations around Indy that I haven't visited but I recommend if you have an allergy these people are very empathic and will accommodate you.
