Best place to go for the freshest fruit and vegetable selection!! I also love their Mealtime to go section!! I especially love the Chinese food, pizza, and fried chicken!! Great deli as well!! Always a clean store and great customer service!! Special thanks to Victoria for being so polite and helpful when I picked up some chicken tenders today for lunch!! She’s helped me before, and is such a pleasure to interact with!!

Fruits and vegetables are most costly in Independence. Avocados 3 for $5. Roma tomatoes $1.99 lb. Avocados average $.69 to .99 everywhere else. Roma tomatoes under $1 lb in most other stores. Great store if money isn't an issue. Check out time is great

Online aisle dept does not pick up. On hold forever. I was charged $59 for a $5 container of pasta. I'll get a refund (hopefully in 4-5 business days). I would have liked a Hy-Vee gift card for my troubles - nope. I have shopped the Noland Road store for many years with very few issues. They discontinued delivery and pick-up for some reason. The 23rd St store (Indep, MO) is NOT impressing me at all. One more try and then I'm going elsewhere. Very, very poor customer service.

Prices so high seems CRIMINAL! Consistent overpriced unripe produce filled with bugs, and a horrible customer satisfaction return policy. Hyvee is a terrible establishment ripping of their customers for extra large profit margins!

Hyvee Market grill has the best food ever! Our favorite is their sushi, omg it's amazing. Always so fresh and made just right. Every Wed is half price sushi day, with a limited menu of sushi to pick from. We get 3 rolls for $18. Where else you going to get the best sushi that cheap! If sushi isn't your thing they have other specials everyday. You will not be disappointed! Enjoy 🍗🍕🍟🍳🍣🍤🍥🥟🥠🥡🍻🍺

I've never had any problems here. They have great customer service. Employees are happy to help you. They are usually pretty busy though. And tend to limit your purchases when they have a great sale. However I absolutely LOVE utilizing their Holiday meals menus. Such as for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Much easier than having everyone in the kitchen at once trying to cook. Plus I can make it one of my gifts to the family, Peace, and great food.

I'm totally done with this store. And their groceries pick up is a joke. I'm still waiting for a store manager to call me, it's been 3 months. No call. They only want your money, don't care that they have overcharged you or sold you produce that was molded. Or made substitutes on orders not excepting substitutes. They could learn from walmart on how to efficiently do a better job. Boo on you 23rd st hyvee or #1 store in Independence, Mo.
