Hidden gem in idyllwild! Don’t waste your time in the long lines at the popular dining spots. Idyology served me by far THE BEST MEAL I HAVE EVER EATEN! This place was the only spot without lines out the door so we decided to check it out. We were seated immediately and given the menu with suggestions. The waiter was attentive and checked in with us frequently and I was surprised even the owner came around and said hi! I was so happy to meet her and she even shared a story with us about one of her menu items. It really made me understand the love and heart she puts into her meals. We started with a salad that included assorted raisins, goat cheese, almonds and a citrus balsamic dressing. For our entree we had a chicken skewers plate that came with a salad topped with tzatziki and warm homemade bread. Our waiter suggested we add the hummus and it was delicious! Ended dinner with a slice of their warm chocolate cake topped with raspberry sauce. The menu had vegan and vegetarian options with other healthy options as well. You don’t have to stress over parking here. The restaurant has parking out front and on the side.

Ate here last night since it was around the corner from our airbnb. So so so glad we did. Its a small mom and pop place with so much character. You're welcomed by a cute little pup who runs around and makes it feel homey. The waiter David I believe was fantastic. Definitely not what I expected, he's more trained like a 5 star Michelin fancy maitre'd. He was great and attentive and had great recommendations. The cook not only made great food but walked around making sure everyons food was to their liking. The atmosphere reminded me of many pubs we ate at in Ireland. I had the chicken parm which was so good and huge I couldn't eat it all. My husband got the greek burger which was so beefy and delish. Highly recommend. Stop in next time you visit.

The food was exquisite. The music (which can be changed at the jukebox if you desire) is by default phenomenal. If you like the 70s and 80s hits you'll love it the vibe. The decor is eclectic and artsy in a fun and relaxed way. They have a very friendly puppy that greets everyone at the door and will (occasionally) try and give you a powerful stare in the hopes you "drop" a piece of chicken. All in all a wonderful experience.

A perfect meal. The duck was incredible. The homemade lemon meringue was to die for. The service and atmosphere was absolutely splendid.

Had lunch here. The place looks like a dive but the hamburgers are very good. The fries are made from fresh potatoes and are some of the best I ever had.

Fantastic gem in Idyllwild! My husband and I ate here yesterday for a late Lunch after a long morning of hiking. We had the Greek Salad and the Salmon. Everything was delicious! Not only was the food amazing but the staff was so friendly and welcoming! We felt like we were having lunch with old friends. We cannot wait to go back!

Wow! Was not expecting the quality dining experience we received. If you judge a book by its cover, you'd be dead wrong with this place. From the outside it looks like a tired mom and pop diner, the type that would serve canned green beans next to a hunk of fried previously frozen meat. The couple running the place were very friendly. Their dog is adorable and friendly to other dogs as well. The restaurant (like most places in Idyllwild) is very accomodating of dogs and they brought us a bowl of water for our dog. No heres the best part, the food was absolutely amazing. I ordered the Salmon fish and chips while my girlfriend ordered the chicken kabob and home made humus. The helpings were huge. Everything about the food was great. It was a shame we went there for lunch as our dinner paled in comparison when we ate somewhere else for dinner. Love this place and will definitely make it a traditional stop while in town.

We took a long weekend getaway for our anniversary and found this place. The food was great. The service too. David made sure we had the best time and food. Filet Mignon for my husband...cooked to perfection and well seasoned. Chicken Gyros plate for me... amazing! House made hummus and taziki, which had thinly sliced cucumbers....yum! and the pita? heaven! the chicken skewers were fantastic too. The owner is a beautiful soul who prepared this feast and shared some of her original music with us as we enjoyed a slice of lemon meringue pie for dessert. All in all a wonderful time.
