Delicious food. My salmon on cauliflower risotto was unbelievable. It's so nice to eat something gluten free that still feels like what it's supposed to be. It was just as good as risotto. Salmon was perfect. Carrots were roasted and delicious. The menu shows gluten free, gluten free available and vegan options. Highly recommend. Service was great and friendly.

Seriously, stop reading and go! This place is outstanding! We were seated by Ari and our server was Kevin, both were amazing people with positive energy. Lots of vegan options for non-meant eaters, and lots of meat options for others. I had the Vegan Queso, which was out of this world and the Cashew Alfredo as my main dish. The Cashew Alfredo was one of the best things I have ever had! Then we were gifted the Vegan Tiramisu by the chef that was also delicious! If you're in or near Idyllwild, Ca this place is a must!

Love sitting on the relaxing patio with friends and family in the beautiful fresh garlic and pine-scented air! Every member from our party, from age 2 to 90 got exactly what they wanted and we’re no easy clan: some vegan, some omnivore, some gluten-free! The service was bright and attentive even though clearly very busy on a holiday weekend. Definitely call ahead or online for reservations you don’t want to miss out on the flavors and experience of Idyllwild’s beloved Cafe!

Great place. Very welcoming. When we arrived they let us know they were experimenting with a new menu. The Gaucho Sandwich was perfect. Great taste, great size, and perfect combination of flavors. Customer Service was also too tier. Definitely will be coming back to see if they have a different dinner menu.

Went to visit Idyllwild for the day today and decided to stop at this restaurant, and this place is EXCELLENT to say the least. I was strongly under the impression that the manager/owner was our server today. He was nothing short of informative and impressive. Atmosphere, work ethic, and customer care where beyond the expectation. There is true character, dedication, and craftsmanship in every dish. If your looking for an experience that is unique, tasteful, and surrounded by scenic nature, THIS IS IT. Whether dining alone, with someone special, or with the family this is definitely the place I’d recommend over, and over again.

I highly recommend this place for the food, atmosphere, and the quality staff. We were very pleased at the quality of food offered for our large group. We booked an event with them. The staff is wonderful and accommodating. The food and desserts were amazing! there was a glitch with the credit card which led to a double charges and the staff worked diligently and to have that reversed.

Cafe Aroma is a charming spot nestled in the forest, and one of two restaurants in Idyllwild I trust to cook me a delicious gluten free meal, and where I trust to take my out of town visitors for an enjoyable dining experience. I pick Aroma for celebrations, for dates, for family dinners, for last minute reservations with friends. The owners are beyond sweet, accommodating and care very much about their customers. This is obvious not only from the conversations we have, but by the ever-evolving menu and improvements they've made since they acquired this local gem in summer 2021. We can't wait until music comes back, all in perfect time!
