After exploring for a while in Cape Cod, we were so terribly hungry and were craving Italian food so we ended up here. We didn't order any appetizers but went straight to the main menu and each of us got one dish.
The Philly Cheesesteak was a standard cheesesteak that you would obtain at any store nearby. The quantity was big so that was good for our hunger but it was pretty much the average expectation of Philly Cheesesteak.
I ordered the Tuscan Sandwich and although it was so difficult to eat that because it of the height of the slider, it was scrumptious. Extremely flavorful and not too big so it could easily fit in your hand. The fries has just the right amount of salt and were soft from within and hard from outside - just the way I like them.
Lastly, my friend ordered the Genovese Panini with house salad. She said that the aioli sauce was a unique addition to the sandwich which enhanced the taste and the side salad was fresh. The chicken however was a little dry.
All in all, it was a nice lunch. What I did find strange was that being an Italian place, Alberto's didn't have Italian pizza on their menu but had American food options instead. I would love it if pizza could be included!
Excellent dinner! We had the manicotti and veal Parmesan and they were both outstanding! Dessert was apple cobbler and it was so flavorful and perfect for ending a cool evening on the outdoor patio with a cup of coffee.
Arthur Miller. Other than the fact that we got seated for a 7:00 reservation at 7:30, service and food were excellent.
Good food and service. I had calamari fra diavolo. Calamari was small and tender with nicely flavored sauce. Perfect portion.
Nice dinner!. Excellent food and service. Food is high quality and well-prepared, very traditional southern Italian. The ambiance is nice, remincient of decades gone by, but in a good way. Prices very fair, especially considering the quality.
Good food, reasonably priced.
Food is delicious. Service is spectacular.
*Bit* expensive.. Good food does take time. Food was nice. Bit expensive.
Pretty nice.. A lot of the price tag comes from the nice decor and location. It might be worth it for some. The food isn't as refined as you would think but it is pretty nice. There is a large selection of food with a variety of values. The 14-ounce pork chop with potatoes and a selection of vegetables for 24 dollars is a nice example. Staff were polite. Yes it takes some time to cook, but it is a common Italian belief that good food takes good time.
Such a delicious meal on the outdoor patio at Alberto’s! We ordered a Very Berry Cosmo and Blueberry Lemonade to start, both fresh and sweet. Our server brought us bread with oil; I wish it was warmed up. We started with the Truffle Gnocchi and it was to die for – probably the best thing I’ve eaten all year. If I could recommend one thing, it’d be that! Our meals were very delicious as well. The Shrimp Carbonara had a good portion of shrimp (5) and the homemade pasta was fresh. The pancetta was a little over cooked but not a major issue. Sometimes ordering shrimp is a hit or miss – it was definitely a hit here! The Veal Sorrentino was great as well – it comes with a tasty pasta in oil, and portion of broccoli, which I wish was seasoned or charred to give it some flavor. Overall our meal was great and our server was attentive. I hope to be back next time I’m on the cape to try some more of their gnocchi dishes!
Great place and is decorated for Xmas already. Classy as always and food was outstanding. We had the chicken Marsala and eggplant parm Dessert was cheesecake which was perfect with a berry sauce. Would highly recommend but make reservations
Very nice christmas environment and good food. The waiter recommended this plate with eggplant and chicken. It was delicious! I would get it again!
The food was fantastic. The enclosed patio was so pleasant. The off season saw a mature crowd, not obnoxious summer crowd. 5 stars for sure.
Everything was perfect! Service was on point and the food was delicious! I ordered the veal capri (pictured), which I've had here before and it was again cooked perfect. My significant other had the chicken picatta, which was also cooked perfect. They also went out of their way to celebrate my birthday. Thank you again. We will be back!
Excellent Caesar salad, and very good chicken in vodka sauce over penne. I requested two cherry peppers on the side, and the chef kindly provided them. I added slices of the hot pepper to the vodka sauce to give it some heat. The resulting dish was similar to Chicken Riggies, a popular regional dish found on menus at Italian restaurants in upstate New York. I recommend you skip the garlic bread appetizer and enjoy the complimentary warm bread provided for the table with requested butter.
I have to say best place I been too.
Me and my new wife came in on tuesday 3/7/23. Had a gentleman with blonde hair sorry dont remember his name excellent service.
I recommend everyone to go there and eat. The quality of food is amazing matchs price. We will be down there on our one year anniversary.
Thank you so much from me and my wife for all around excellent service also food and atmosphere.
I loved Alberto’s. They have a large restaurant, and getting a reservation was easy. We started with a Caesar salad and a soup of the day, which was a minestrone. Both were very good, especially the soup. For our mains, I had the Sinatra pasta, and we also had the pappardelle pasta. I really loved the Sinatra, and the San Mariano sauce on the pappardelle was terrific too. Overall I loved Alberto’s and would go back. The staff was attentive and friendly. The restaurant itself is excellent.
Let’s start at the beginning. There would have been about an hours wait but someone canceled their reservation and the manager said he can give me the table if we can be done eating in an hr and a half. At first thought I said sure but when I truly thought out it I’ve never been told to hurry up and eat. In any case, I ordered a drink from the bar when we sat down but the drink taker did not understand the drink order so we had to wait to order with our waiter. Waiter came dropped off menus took our drink order and it took a great deal of time for anything to come back to the table. In fact the waiter came back minus the drinks and asked for our order. We ordered and everything just basically came at once. We paced ourselves and started with the appetizers which were great we had the calamari and garlic bread. Our drinks were Malibu bay breezes (we had better). The bread and vinaigrette that came to the table was awful. Entrees were surf and turf, linguine and meatballs, chicken parmigiana, chicken tortellini Alfredo. All very good. Service was slow. Waiter.Asked if we wanted dessert and I would have normally ordered dessert but our hour and a half limit was up and the dessert menu was very limited and unappealing. Group tips get included in your total. This was a so so experience.
Wonderful experience. Our waiter, Luis, was very kind, patient and helpful. I would absolutely return again. The fettuccine noodles were cooked perfectly and the blackened scallops were oh so good! My first time having a vodka martini and I hope they all taste as fantastic.
