Monkey House Cafe

My 1st time here but man what an amazing experience. I got the veggie breakfast sandwich that has egg on it. I asked them to put some mayo and grilled onions on it. This is one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. And the lady was so sweet that was at the counter she was so friendly and as you so thankful for her sweet hello and how nice she was or shall I say is! Blows HB bagels away!!!

This place is awesome! Small and quaint. The food is absolutely delicious and fresh. Real old fashioned sqaw bread, rye, huge crunchy pickles... You get the idea. Portions are very large and many unique flavor combos. They also serve wine, gourmet coffees and teas and even has a unique gift shop. Employees are super nice and friendly. Will definitely be telling people about this place.

This place is cute, comfortable atmosphere. I ordered a jungle sandwich which is more of a veggie sandwich but I added turkey. So good, with cucumber, onion, sprouts etc on squaw bread. The menu was a little thin for sandwiches as far as I was concerned but the food was good. They have ice cream too. Not sure if this is the norm but I was waiting by the sandwich counter to order and then found out I needed to go to the Ice cream counter to order was a little turned off by that. The decor is patio style furniture with a garden type feel. You can buy misc items around the store plus there is a cute little items, like stuffed animals, lunch boxes, purses etc. Be aware that they only do exchanges or store credit. No returns for cash back.

I love Monkey House! Best green tea smoothie ever! Pretty chill to hang out there too... You won't ever get bored with your surroundings! Not too much and not too little.... Love the boutique next door(same building, just one room over).... Definitely a 'one of a kind' type of place. Great food, great service.... Never have been disappointed.

This place has a nice and peaceful vibe. If you are a student and wish to come do some homework, this is the spot. It's also a good little spot to bring a significant other or come as a group. The food is average and that's why I took a star away, but that is my personal preference and perspective. Other than that, the place Is a good quiet hangout.
