A Nice, Fun Karen

The secret spot has updated and moved their store to a new location. The food is mostly plant- based with lots of vegan 🥗 and vegetarian 🥑 items. For breakfast the pancakes are great. We loved the blueberry mango 🥭 pancakes 🥞 The breakfast burritos 🌯 are good with lots of choices. The salads 🥗 are tasty, particularly the blackberry salad. Good sandwiches, tacos and burritos. We loved the Korean taco 🌮! The customer service is great- they moved non-stop and were very helpful. Enjoy every healthy bite.

Laidback cafe with vegan options available. Came here post-surf sesh at Bolsa with a friend and we were ravenous. There’s a free parking lot available. Outdoor and indoor seating is available. Credit cards are accepted. If you check in on Yelp, you also get $3 off. You order at the counter first and then an employee brings out your offer as it’s prepared. Bathrooms are available in the back of the restaurant. The indoor seating does have outlets available. I got the California burrito and asked for no sour cream, while my friend got the breakfast sandwich. Both dishes came with a side of chips and salsa. The salsa was quite sweet and very mild. The burrito had refried beans and could be made vegan for an additional fee. They do have coffees and pastries available as well. Overall, it’s a chill spot to grab some food close to the beach.

The owner was really accommodating and allowed me to order breakfast just after they stopped serving. We had the carne asada breakfast burrito served with coffee and chips. The burritos are the best I've had in Cali. I live in Denver and we are a bit snobby about ours so I was pleasantly surprised. Support this locally owned business. They are serving out love!

The Secret Spot is unbelievable. They have an incredible selection of vegetarian food n delicious juices. I had the Blackened mushroom wrap which was incredible. Along side I had my favorite Yuca fries. Not cheap but quality is worth it. One if my favorite vegetarian restaurants.

Awesome shrimp burrito with great flavor, butterflied and just the right amount of mushrooms, cheese, beans, and rice. Prices are decent and there are even deals certain days of the week. We'll be back 5*!😎

Went here for lunch and breakfast while on vacation. The tacos and burritos were amazing, and so many vegan options! The vegan pancakes were pretty good, but the chocolate chip ones were a little gummy/ not fluffy like advertised on the menu. The blueberry ones were a little more fluffy. The cold brew is not good unless you like the gasoline flavored coffee. Overall I would go here again and recommend to go, especially if you’re vegan. Just get the coffee elsewhere and definitely try the burritos. Store has good vibes and nice service.

So sad to se this place go! :( I was here a lot in the late 90s then moved away. Just came back for a visit. I am glad I at least got to see the “for lease“ signs and not another shop entirely. It helps with closure. RIP

Nice quaint location with good vibes and even better food. Billy's breakfast sandwich *chefs kiss*. Fresh squeezed juices, lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Definitely recommend.

Bikes, Burgers and Blues

07-15-22 First visit here. Was told that the Chocolate Chip Pancakes are (add your own superlative here). They are absolutely chocolatey, almost on the edge of too much. I think a nice big scoop of vanilla ice cream might do the trick! We certainly will go back and try some of the other items on the menu. The Breakfast Sandwich looks intriguing. I'll let you know!
