Whiskey Thumper Bar & Grill

We weren't sure what to expect for a late meal (2030) on a Saturday night. The restaurant side was see, but or waitress was attentive and nice. The place is very nice and there is no smoking. The food was great and or drinks were good too (though the signature cocktails were all on the sweet side). We'll be back for the food and the pool tables that are family accessible.

This food is incredible and well priced! Especially for a bar! For appetizers we had the largest cheese sticks I've ever seen, breaded in panko, and the stack of onion rings. They had a delicious breading and awesome sauce. I had the 8oz filet (delicious) with loaded mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. My husband had the dry rub ribs with a blueberry bbq sauce. It's great! I was worried about a blueberry sauce, but it's very good. Definitely worth a try. My sister had the Bang Bang Shrimp and loved it! A touch spicy and grilled to perfection. The bartenders are very knowledgeable about their products and made great recommendations. They have like 80 craft beers, a daiquiri bar, and many local liquors too. I support Texas! The DJ played a good variety of music and had us dancing most of the night. There are pool tables on both sides of the bar. Great place, huge! Awesome food! Bring your friends!!! Great for events of all sizes!

Casey was our server/bartender, amd he was awesome! Their whiskey list is top notch, I had a Balcones Rumble old Fashioned and it was the best I've had outside of Anvil or Prohibition. The Brussel sprouts were amazing, although I'd order them sans goat cheese next time, let that bitterness shine through guys.
