This place is my absolute go to for very tasty seafood and fried rice dishes. These plates are bold and flavorful. Never bland or missing any seasonings 😋😋😋 I'm never disappointed 👏🏽💪🏽😁
Hole in the wall kind of place, which is pretty nice imo. I tried the Oister Po Boy.
The service was great, the staff was super friendly and helpful.
Atmosphere was alright, a bit low lit, plenty of seating and there is a small outside seating area.
Now for the reason we're all here, the PoBoy.
The bread was way too dense and chewy, I really had to make an effort to eat it. The batter on the oysters was disappointing, it was very clumpy and hard which make it even harder to hleat with the bread. Whatever batter they use, I hope they change it. Additionally the oysters were bland as if they did not season the batter. The rest was standard, mayo, lettuce, tomato.
I also had the fries, which were ok, nothing to rave about but they were not bad I just wish they were thinner but more importantly crisper.
I did try the hush puppies which I cannot recommend more. Very flavourful, crisp, moist on the inside and over all the winner of the show.

This place is such a vibe and the food is GREAT! I have family in town who wanted seafood and I’ve ordered from doordash a few times so I recommended this place to them and we all went for lunch. We had grandparents, parents, and small kids in tow & every single person loved the food and the music.
We took quite a few minutes to review the menu and order, the staff was very friendly and helped us answer the many questions we had and even made suggestions before finalizing our order. As soon as we sat down my dad was in love with the playlist and was already impressed by the establishment. He states this is the kind of service he expects but is hard to come by.
Our food came out freshly made and overly delicious. We ordered wings and chicken strips for the kiddos, fried tilapia & catfish, fried shrimp, salmon, fries, and fried rice. That fried rice is TO DIE FOR!!! I was secretly smiling to myself all afternoon because my family kept sharing their excitement over how good the food was and “this is what we came to Texas for”
I think they were out of crawfish but when it’s back in season I’ll be sure to bring my family back to enjoy it as I once have with friends as well. Looking forward to my next visit here! If you visit, try their daiquiris but be warned… 1 is plenty lol
Stopped by the other evening to order some food. We reviewed the menu and finalized our selections. We ordered the shrimp fried rice, battered wings, and boudin balls. The food was very good. Looking forward to the next visit.
I was in Houston and wanted seafood. So this is a place that popped up with great stars and knowing someone that went here wanted to try it. I ordered 50 popcorn shrimp and fries, pork egg roll, catfish, and a mixed daiquiri. All of it was amazing. The crazy thing is the shrimp were perfect and after 10 minutes the fries were still crunchy. It looks like a hole in the wall but it's worth it to go try! The catfish was still hot and had flames coming from it after 15 minutes. Plus you get a lot of food for your buck! I will try the boils next time because compared to Dallas they are very affordable. Go and try this food, you won't regret it. Plus the staff was nice too
Mike’s Seafood hands down has the best crawfish in Houston! The crawfish is full of garlic, spice, and the butter is a great complement, even off season. The service tends to be quick and the atmosphere is lively. I’m glad this restaurant is pretty close to home!
Wow.....this place was packed from the outside 😳 and inside too!! Hardly any parking and line of people wanting to either sit down to eat or get their pickup order!! Definitely coming back here again, I had a to-go order and it was delicious and filling!!🗣✅️👏
This was worth the hour drive from league city!! The crawfish had the perfect combination of heat and flavor! The house rice was amazing! We ordered a small for our 4yr old but it was enough for all 3 of us! The oysters were fresh and huge! I haven't had oysters this flavorful and fresh in a long time and the pricing is even better! The staff is friendly and Mike the owner really takes care of everyone like family! We enjoyed the entire experience, while watching the game and listening to 90s music faves! We are already planning a trip back! He has 2 locations so now we look forward to trying both!!
Too many favorite dishes at Mike’s Seafood. All a must try! Their batter is well seasoned and quality is made to perfection. Their grilled oysters reminds me of NOLA style if anything pretty darn good. Something about their well seasoned batter is what we lack in Dallas.

My husband and I visited this establishment for the first time on Saturday and it was awesome. The customer service was immaculate and the food was well worth our money spent. Not to mention the daiquiris. They even let us sample before purchase.
