Big 6 Barbque

I first found out about Big 6 BBQ while attending the TriStar show at NRG. They were the closest food option there (Chick-Fil-A was closed already 😐) after walking around for hours. The staff there were friendly and quick! I had gotten the BBQ nachos (don’t remember what it was called exactly), and let me say that it was THE TRUTH 🙌🏻 After looking them up online, it said they had a location close to home! So I made it a goal to check them out one day going home from work. Today was that day. I tried their BBQ Brisket Burger today… and they DID NOT MISS 🤤 And also, the gentleman (I believe he’s the owner) who helped me was very welcoming! I am not sure why this establishment isn’t more talked about! They should be on the same level as Turkey Leg Hut! I know its 2 different things, but still. As a matter of fact, I’d eat here before I eat at TLH (nothing against them). We need all the Houston foodie bloggers to check this place out and help get them noticed. My new favorite BBQ spot. I will definitely be back! 😌

I grew up in a household where my parents bbq every weekend on our little ‘Old Smokey. So I know bbq and I don’t eat just any bbq. It has to be smoked, seasoned well, and not smothered in bbq sauce. This place was everything I wanted and more. The jalapeño sausage were so flavorful. The guy at the front told me they were homemade. The smoked chicken breast was so juicy and full of flavor. The wait time was a little longer then desired but I know good food takes time. I’ll be back next week. I may call ahead next time.

We attended a neighborhood event that Big 6 catered. We're glad we went because Big 6 was very good and we got to meet a lot of our neighbors, very nice people. The brisket was very tender and oh so tasty, the sausage and the chicken drum stick was just as good, the beans and tater salad were very good. Now I need to visit their food trailer, they're bookmarked already.

DO NOT HESITATE to order any (or all) of this heavenly BBQ!!!! We just ordered a bit of almost everything and LOVED every single bite❤️❤️❤️! This is now my go to for BBQ...forever. Great portion sizes, excellent sides, and perfect ratio of lean to fat on the brisket. Don't forget to add the sauce and finish with a lovely peach cobbler. Buy vanilla bean ice cream to keep in your freezer because you'll want it😂😂😂. We highly recommend. Thanks Big 6, see you soon😃👍💥

One word. Perfect! I came to order brisket for my family Christmas dinner and these were the kindest people ever! I absolutely fell in love with the lady at the window. She was the sweetest! They walked me through everything that I needed. I've had the Turkey, chicken,sausage, and brisket and they are all amazing. Don't pass up this gem!
