I have gone to many bbq places and I always order a potato all the way with chopped beef. Beef&Bun by far is the best. I have been going to this location for years and it never fails. I love what they have upgraded, it looks great.

I have eaten (mostly takeout) from this Spring Branch family owned place for at least 15 years. You just cannot beat the price vs quality of their food. I recently had a very bad experience at another BBQ place (Baker's Ribs on Voss) which only made me appreciate the Beef & Bun that much more. It ain't fancy or the best dine-in experience that you will ever have, but for always good ole' Texas BBQ at really great prices, you can't beat it.
BBQ has been the exact same for the 30 years I've eaten it. Amazing. Sauce is drinkable it's so good. Originally Greek owned it is now owned by the two brothers that grew up working with the owner, and took his pride in food to heart. I read the reviews on here and it must be because it's in a 'rougher part of town'... Whoever needs "chain" BBQ and processed products don't go here. Period. You won't find it, it is truly homemade delicious food. I can't stress enough that this restaurant has not changed in 30 years. Prepare for a 'soup nazi' Seinfeldian experience, but you will never regret it. Sliced beef sandwich and fries. Thank me later..... One more thing, I'm the son of the retired director of public works and engineering (health inspections). Trust me whoever claims it would fail inspection is plain dumb. It was a staple restaurant for my entire extended family, and always will be. Straight delicious.
Great hidden gem on Longpoint! New owners are BBQ cook-off winners that know their stuff. Prices are great and portions are huge! Top quality beef!
By far the best BBQ I've had so far. The brisket sandwich made my mouth water as soon as I bit into it. If you want your tastes buds to go crazy then definitely give this BBQ joint a try.
this is by far the best bbq place in Houston. have been going there since i was small & just recently started trying new things on the menu & haven't found something i don't like. $6 almost $7 will buy you a burger or a "basket"as they call it & if you have it for lunch that will be your dinner because it will STUFF you. every time I'm in the area it's a must to stop by
Prices have gone up but brisket is perfect, fries are perfect, baked potatoes are divine. Been going here for years, same cooks and counter help. Neighborhood favorite.
Beef and Bun BBQ is under new ownership as of November 2016. Come check it out!! The food is so good and the place has really cleaned up!! Family owned and operated is the best!!
Not the greatest barbecue in the city but to me it’s in the top 10. But absolutely unbeatable as far as the quantity and quality ratio for what you have to spend. My only complaint is they close at eight every night except Sunday which they’re closed all day

I can't believe it took me this long to review this place. This is truly Houston's best bbq. Brisket is so tender and juicy. The bbq sauce is delicious. Mmm.. I'm hungry now.
