My first time here and had a really good experience. The place was nice, clean and the service was great. Order more food but forgot to take a picture. Waza shrimp fried rice and crispy shrimp very delicious. Their sweet teas also delicious!

This is always a nice option for beautifully prepared and presented dishes at moderate prices. The interior is upscale and service is very attentive. The crispy grouper fillet and waza kaminabe are regular favorites.

Great staff. Very friendly and knowledge. Very clean, and well spaced. Everything you'd want in a lil sushi spot off of 1960 and cutten.

I've passed this place for decades and only came in one time when it was under a different establishment in the early nineties and what I can say was I did not know it was this nice inside. This is a place you would want to take a date. Parking is plenty here. It's set on a corner end cap of a shopping strip as I remember. If you know where the target is on 1960, you will see it to your right. During this Memorial Day visit 2020, there werr not any specials going on for obvious reasons but do not let that deter you from a visit. It took my daughter and I about a month to find a sushi place that was actually open for dine-in instead of take out. I forgot which Sushi my daughter ordered but it had a good fresh flavor to it with the crunchy textures in the right regions. I want to say that it was the Crab Trio but the pictures would probably tell a better story. I was trying to stick near my dietary needs, so I ordered the shrimp salad with the Asian type dressing with the Wonton Strips. The leaves and other ingredients were fresh with no brown edges on the leaves and had about 6 shrimp laying inside. The water did not taste or smell like toilet water and rusty pipes. I am on a low sugar diet so I asked the waitress if there was a way that she could just put a little bit of the peach syrup for the flavor of it and she made each of thy four glasses I drank almost perfect. I have to give Phuc a call out because her service was impeccable and you could tell that she has a lot of experience in this profession and knows what she is doing a in coordination with appetizers and main entrees, shy really enhanced our enjoyment hereh and all of the staff, help and management that walked by were helpful in seeing that everything was alright. I really felt good about seeing two older Asian gentleman behind the glass counter making the Sushi instead of some newly trained kid stuck behind there on their phones or something. Their body language casted that they did care about what they were doing and in a professional standing. The value of the food will not give you a sticker shock and in fact was a little less than I expected for the area and overhead. The interior is well decorated and has several flat screens scattered around for your viewing experience. All tables were in compliance with the 6-foot rule.

Bento box and lunch special were generously portioned and actually filling, unlike some other Japanese places. Prices $11-$15 for the lunch specials. Great atmosphere and good food, even if I prefer stir fry instead of tempura vegetables. Came with a party of 6 and everyone left satisfied.

Let me start off by saying that I have eaten a lot of sushi/sashimi but have never had Japanese Sushi before. Haven’t seen my friend in a year, so he told me about WAZA, so we stopped in for lunch. I was impressed walking in, it was quiet and we were greeted by the owner who is looking at video cameras of the parking lot. We sat at the front bar and ordered hot saki. We ordered Beef Tataki (Kobe Beef), Miso Soup, Chango Roll, Sashimi Lunch Combo. All was delicious!!! I wish they had more locations but for now, I have more reasons to make the 2 hour drive to visit my friend more.
