Barbar is by far the best meditaranian resturaunt I have been to. The food is amazing and they have great service and very reasonable prices. I absolutely loved it, and highly recommend anyone who visits Houston, to go there.
The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The bar bar burger and the chicken Francisco were absolutely delicious! Will definitely be coming again.
What an amazing flavor. Each and every item has its own fresh flavor and delicious taste. Fantastic food. , great serving representation, caring customer service , good food portion in their platter , variety of BBQ food , sauces have their own taste and charm. Ample of indoor seating area located right on the main road , rest room could use some attention but food service and menu are very much affordable , enjoyable and appreciable.
The only reason I’m rating 4⭐️ this restaurant because their grill chicken and nando’s type if source was Top Class rest was okay average, Rice were cold enough. But That’s okay because the chicken was delicious. Last but not least If you can speak Arabic you might can get your food served before others, I experienced so I shares.
The owner runs the place and is very attentive to the food & its quality. We have visited this place 3 times already and everything we tried we loved. Once you overlook the bland small atmosphere, the food is really delicious & freshly made. The chicken drumsticks are perfectly grilled & seasoned, the hummus with beef was great, the shawarma fries is generous & tasty, the mixed grill platter is a winner - everything was delicious. Please ask for gloves if you truly want to enjoy the drumsticks.
Wow! Barbar is the best tasting Lebanese cuisine I’ve had outside of Lebanon. I grew up in Dearborn, Michigan, largest Arab population in America, I would pick Barbar over any restaurant there. The quality, hospitality, and portions are second to none. Thank you Rabih and staff for providing a great experience! I highly recommend checking out Barbar.

The establishment sits in a small shopping center, and parking is limited.
Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by Rabih. He explained what meals were on the menu and made suggestions. The menu displays a description of the meals with their contents. Accompanied by their respective photographs. (A better idea of what appears most appealing.
We chose combination platter #3. Accompanied by your choice of 2 sides. We chose fries and side rice. Meal was served on a cutting board, well presented. The food was absolutely delicious. The rice had a different aroma of spices and flavors. All proteins are tender and juicy. You also have ketchup and hot sauce. The hot sauce was not spicy. It was a tomatoe base; light to medium spice.
This is a restaurant that can be both a family and sit alone. There were multiple families eating and enjoying the environment. Rabih continuously checked on us and then as well. Assuring that our meals were to our liking.
Upon finishing our meal, it sat light and not heavy.
We will be returning!

Visited here with my friends, and it was their first having Lebanese cuisine, and I was having it after a long time.
The place was very neat and spacious they also had outdoor seatings arrangement.
Once we got there, the owner helped us explain the items on a menu. I ordered whole grill chicken with a side of rice, hummus, and falafel. My friends ordered a mixed grill for one and lamb kabab with rice.
First, I will begin with my order. Food was served very quickly. Falafels were crispy, fresh, and delicious they were served with pickles, and tahini next, I had grilled chicken. Chicken was freaking amazing! Juicy, tender and delicious it was served with a special sauce on top of it, which complemented chicken very well.
After finishing my food, I tasted my friends' dishes because the serving was too much for them. I was satisfied with the size of serving very satisfying. All the other items like chicken kabab, lamb kabab, and beef kabab were very delicious. Everything was grilled perfectly.
Overall experience was amazing, service was fast, and portions were satisfying. The environment was good.

Revisiting this place after a while. I really like the updated modern look with black interior. The food, as always, was great.
Platter#1 and spicy mango burger were delicious.
Wings with their in house orange sauce is spot on and tasted really good. We tried chicken tawook w/rice, chicken was juicy and spiced well. The shawarma was saucy and fries were crispy. The reason for the 4star is the burger. We didn’t like the burger, the patty was well done, tasted mediocre, the coleslaw was making the burger sweet. Really like the overall fusion concept of this restaurant but they really need to work on their burgers.

I got the combination platter 3.
the rice was buttery, garlic aoili with a capital G, enough bread to roll kabobs and then some more.
He pioneered that vinegary sour yet savory bbq sauce on the coal grilled chicken...you will clean or accidentally ingest the chicken bones.. super flavorful.
the sandwiches are not just side kicks here. Chicken Francisco has creamy corn mayo and is panini pressed so you don't drop any ingredient out.
The chicken shawarma bites are bit messy ..but who cares.. you got mayo all around you..
the goat chops were tender and butter knife worthy. yes.. goat chops tasted like goat..(if you don't like that goaty taste, you've been warned)
Even the fries have that crisp texture and were rich velvety inside.
For ramadan they also had complimentary lentil soup..which had roasted garlicky butter taste. I got 2 bowls of it.
I also got their fresh fruit cocktail. antioxidants, vitamins and the perfect way to top off the feast.
Everything in picture and drinks and gratuity came to $109.53. I had enough food to take home and have Iftar all over again.
Definitely one of the best Mediterranean in the city.
Ordered a combo platter and some additional sandwiches.
The platter is good value, individual sandwiches are a little too pricey.
Overall, all meat was perfectly cooked, bread was warm and fresh and the fries reminded me exactly of the Middle East, really really good.
The signature chicken is a standout for sure, delicious sauce.
Areas of improvement are really around sandwiches and shawarma. They are too dry and deserve to be much saucier.
The food is phenomenal!!! Absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is amazing. The owner is super nice and was very helpful! Definitely coming back here!
