I visited early in the day so it was not very packed and I was seated quickly. My server was Daniel and he was very attentive and prompt. He answered all my questions and made great suggestions. The food was well seasoned and done just right. The menu had a good variety of options for different tastes including several crab free options.

Our food was great and the service we got from Daasher was amazing. We loved how she interacted with our 4yr old from the beginning to the end. Definitely requesting her every time we go. 🙂

I have to say, I was very impressed by this visit to Joe's Crab Shack. Sure, the last time I came to this specific restaurant was a few years back but man, this recent visit really blew my expectation away. We came here to celebrate my brother's birthday and as the birthday man, he chose this restaurant but I was rolling my eyes since I dislike chain restaurants. I got here a bit early given it's not too far from where I live and they were kindly let me show down for a table of 4 + 1 baby without needing the all of the parties to be here. As soon as I sat down, the server, Steve, who even wrote his name on the napkin and place it under the menu in case you forget, took my drink order while I wait for everyone to get here. I looked at the menu and they're doing the steam pot at this time. I wasn't too sure if I wanted to get it given the price point is $25+ per pot. As soon as everyone's here, I asked my brother why did he choose this one and he said that they were here a few weeks ago and the quality has changed and it was very good for the price. I was still a bit skeptical but I ordered a the KJ steam pot. The food came out in good time and the server was very attentive. The food, especially, the steam pot, is definitely worth the price. The crab legs were deliciously cooked and good size portion for the size. My pot came with steamed clams, mussels, and scallop. There's also a whole steamed corn and some potatoes in the bottom. I also took a bite at my sis-in-law's pot's sausage and try their crab legs as my pot was the snow crab where as certain steam pot has the Dungeness crab. We were so full that we couldn't eat any desserts there. But yes, I can't believe this chain has improved so much that I am willing to write and make sure people know about this change. If you don't feel like waiting in line for family friendly seafood time, this is the good family weekend dinner go to spot.
