Great restaurant idea, delicious food choices, informed counter staff,cooks that get the food out in a tasty timely fashion. The little cafe is busy im sure due to the enormous overstuffed potatoes as well as other things served. All offerings have catchy names and are sold in at least 3 sizes. Skins,sandwiches, and novelty drinks also make this place worth the drive.
I got the funky chicken and my bf got the trash can. We also got boudin balls.. the biggest boudin balls I've ever seen or had and even when I was stuffed, I kept wanting to eat. Lol.

I’ve been to their other location before but the vibe here was perfect for an afternoon lunch. The cashier Regina was so nice and knowledgeable of the menu. She was patient helping me find a non pork option. I ended up going with a chicken and shrimp potato with Alfredo sauce. It was filling and delicious (ofc I didn’t finish in one sitting) but honestly this is the small size. You’re definitely getting your value for your money!
This was my first time here, but most definitely NOT my last. The menu choices 👌 so many good ones to choose from, hot cheeto and chicken, boudan, crayfish, Philly cheesteak, seafood, frito pie stuffed baked potatoes. I ordered a small Seafood Deluxe $15 and it was soooo good! And by NO means small, it was plenty. There is only a bar though no tables is the only thing I would change but it wasn't crowded (not sure why). You will also be supporting a local owned black business. All the workers were attentive and very respectful.
The best baked potato you will ever eat! We had the trash can and the super freak both were delicious! The kool-aid is sooo good. The service from Nene was 10/10!!! I can’t wait to come back!
I really enjoy this place. I think they have extremely creative potatos and they are very good. I love the trash can and the seafood deluxe. The serving sizes are really good as well and they are reasonably priced for what you get. I only rated 4 stars because of the wait. But that's because they are popular and rightfully so! Definitely worth a try.
Stopped in here for lunch with a co-worker as per their recommendation. Wow this has got to be one of the best stuffed potatoes period. I got a small and it was almost big enough for 2 people. The trash can was great I mean it literally all the meats you could want and taste great. Service was on point as well and super friendly. Highly recommend checking them out

The stuffed backed potatoes this place has are definitely the bomb and a must try. They have any kind of stuffed baked potatoes to please everyone from shrimp, seafood, cajun, BBQ and even oxtails stuffed baked potato. The the different stuffed baked potatoes are huge and worth every penny. Their boudin balls are sinful and you can have them with different toppings too. Now, let me tell you about their peach cobbler, it's sinfully delicious. So, if you've never been by there my question to you would be "Why not?" and "What are you waiting for?" GO try them, you will not be disappointed....
The trash can was good per usual but my oxtails needed more seasoning 😔 first time I wasn’t completely satisfied with my food it’s usually on point.
This place has awesome food. Got the seafood potato, and it was amazing. Good service but no seating area. Still a great place
Wish there was more locations to give a taste of the black community's best restaurant to the rest of the Houston as well as it can shorten my drive from the Northside.
Good employees with great knowledge and know the better taste of food.
