Wow! We visited CalleOnze on a whim after hearing it opened in the Heights. The service, flavors, and drinks were the best I’ve had at a Mexican restaurant since going to Xochi. CalleOnze’s dishes are full of flavor and the quality really comes through whether you’re having an appetizer or a main dish. Daniel, our server, provided great recommendations and service. This place is a 10! If you’ve not tried it, what are you waiting for?! A huge congratulations to the team behind this place and to the kitchen for making all our means with love and flavor.

Cute little place, reservation recommended. The patio was really nice. We noisy inside. The tamarind martini was really good. Quality and presentation of food was very good. 5 of us shared the tres leches, was a big piece. Great service too.

My party of two came on Friday evening I'm the latter time of the happy hour which lasts til 6:30. We made reservations for 5:45 pm and it wasn't packed, but by the time we left at 8 ish, they were busy, so I'd recommend reservations to ensure you get seats. Take note, the food we had was spicy (pork belly tacos and grilled shrimp entree). The description didn't say they would be spicy, but bareable. The street corn and Buffalo cauliflower were a great small plate option. No food here lacked any flavor. The service was great. The staff offered recommendations and worked together to ensure the customer had a great experience.

Tried their Houston restaurant weeks menu and I like that they serve it on Saturdays. Had the ceviche tostada and the burrata toast and they were both very delicious. The burrata felt more like a dessert with the peaches and nuts but still yummy. Second course was the pork belly and the steak and they were good. The tortillas were amazing! Thick corn tortillas are the move. I’m kind of a baby tbh because the sauces were super spicy 🥵 but they constantly have people filling water so I survived. The dessert was my favorite part. I love tres leeches and the chocolate tamal is something I had never experienced before. It wasn’t my favorite but it was nice to try something I had never tried before. It paired well with the ice cream. Overall enjoyed myself and had great service too!

Everything was wonderful. Highlight of the night were: mezcal frozen cocktail, mixto (?) Ceciche 5/5, uves y burrata small dish 5/5, beet dish 5/5. Not a fan of the steak (cooked very well-done) and the bone marrow tacos (too oily for our liking) Overall, great place to enjoy the gorgeous patio and have a few bites and drinks

First time here. This used to be Calle 11. In my opinion this is better. The food here is very unique and not your typical Tex Mex. Very good flavors with an Asian influence. The ceviche was fresh. The corn queso was so good as well. Guacamole was on point. The croquetas were very good with very rich flavors. The drinks were also really good. They offer valet parking for 6 dollars. Came on a Wednesday night and got a table immediately. Restaurant was maybe a quarter full by the time we left. Recommend checking this place out if you're in the mood for non-typical Mexican food.

Small restaurant but had a very nice time. Ordered only the bone marrow tacos but they were REALLY tasty! The spicy mango margarita was also nice to try out! Paid $6 valet parking, had no problems with finding our group inside to sit down. I would recommend calling for a reservation since there’s not too many tables indoors. There are two areas outdoors, one area is heated inside a clear tent while one area beside isn’t. Had a nice server, polite and always kept attending to our table for refills and to ask if everything was doing okay.

The atmosphere is awesome, excellent service, great food, and great drinks! First thing, a frozen marg, then go with the ceviche, a tuna tostada, and finish off with a ceviche tostada mixto and I’m full. Every single menu item that I’ve tried is absolutely delicious!

Been here twice now since it changed over from Calle Once. Great food, good service, craft cocktails. Loved the papas fritas, and the ceviche. Food was so good I forgot to take pictures of most of what we ordered!

This place is worth the hype! With the lush and warm indoor decor and a cozy lit outdoor patio, you have the best of both worlds for seating options. There is also heating lamps outside for the patio, an uncovered section with picnic benches and umbrellas and a tented section of the patio. Jorge served us and kept us laughing throughout the night. He shared his favorites and what was great about everything we ordered. We got the pozole dumplings and ceviche to start. The dishes come out as they’re made so the ceviche came out first. The pozole dumplings are a great pincho with five dumplings in a chili oil broth with radishes. The ceviche lingered with a nice citrus taste and spicy kick that didn’t overwhelm the palate. The tortillas with truffle butter and roe was interesting. The truffles lent an earthy taste and the roe had the perfect salty pop with the warm homemade tortillas. Last, we had the duck breast with mole. I’m always wary of mole because you never really know what you’re going to get but this was complex in a way that you kept going back for more. Combined with the figs and this was a heavenly bite! My only criticism would be that the duck skin was crisp, but the duck fat was not rendered long enough so there was a thick layer of fat that had to be separated before eating. Get the corn drink! It was absolutely delicious and I’m already planning my return.

Margaritas are on point! They are well priced and tasty. Not too sweet and not too bitter, just refreshing. We started with the civeche, they have good sizable chunks of fish with good cucumber and a slightly amount of heat from jalapeno. My only wish is that it came with one or two more tostada. We ordered the grilled shrimp and the pork ribeye. The shrimp had a good curry sauce with a bit of a kick to it. I couldn't keep my hands off the pork ribeye though! The fat was tender and well rendered in an amazing sauce, and the tortillas were really good with them. I really want to come back and try more seafood options!

Wow! Everything was good. But, the bone marrow was the best I’ve ever had. Mocktail was pretty good too.
