If you are looking for geat food, great atmosphere at a reasonable price , Mawal Clearlake is the place to be! And the crepes!!!! To die for.. Make sure you try the sweet crepes !! A piece of heaven!

Gyro came in decent portions. Sauce was creamy and delicious. Fries were not bad either.
The environment was very relaxing. There were booths or outside seating. Great place to just chill and have good conversations. People were playing Majong which was interesting to see.
They gave us the wrong Hookah flavor and missed one of my friends orders, so service was not that great that day. They did attempt to give us the correct flavor which was nice.
There are a lot of Mediterranean restaurants in Texas especially around the league city area. What makes Mawal Cafe the best here is because of their consistency in their food which is always good, amazing customer service. The manager Kenny is really good and takes care of his customers.

Food was good. Several of the other customers were "smoking" some sort of large vaping device. It made the whole restaurant strongly smell like incense. If you have a sensitive nose you probably don't want to eat inside. Lunch specials were a good value and even included a small piece of Baklava. FYI the red sauce that is served in a little side container is super spicy, be careful. The white sauce is the standard garlic sauce. Not as garlicky as most but still pretty good.
Webster/Clear Lake is a crowded market for Mediterranean, but Mawal manages to carve its own definitive space with its variety, quality, and hookah availability. The service is typically a little slow, so it's not the place to go in a hurry, but the food more than makes up for any slowness. They are priced extremely fairly and offer up a great deal of food in return. It was scrumptious. Their Turkish coffee is excellent, the humus is clearly fresh, I love the mawal plate, it's all so good!!

I had an amazing dinner here! Food was exquisite, the lamb shank was so perfect, has great flavor, plus it fell off the bone and melted in my mouth!! Straight mouth orgasm style!! The humus and pita was de-licious!! Thanks to the staff and chefs, you guys have an amazing establishment!
Overall my new favorite spot!!

They don't serve you free a glass of water. They only have bottled water. You pay! It's kind a weird!
We come here at least once a month. The restaurant's clean, quiet and the food so good. We always order the same over and over again. Mawal Plate..thats it .
We love their fried cauliflower too.
Until today, I see Mawal lunch special for less than $10. Its shawarma combo plate,combination beef and chicken shawarma with rice. Olala..they give big portion meat. I have to share it with my son. And lunch comes with either baklava or red tea with mint. I always pick red tea with mint. Hot and refreshing.
So I know what i order next time....

Great food and good hookah! Outside seating available on the patio. Had the kunufeh, falafel plate and chicken kabob all which we were satisfied with.
Prices were reasonable and our server was cool - no complaints here.
It's very nice restaurant, delicious food. The service that they give it's amazing. We love to past time there with our friends and family it's a good atmosphere. We enjoy there....
