There are a lot of Mediterranean restaurants in Texas especially around the league city area. What makes Mawal Cafe the best here is because of their consistency in their food which is always good, amazing customer service. The manager Kenny is really good and takes care of his customers.

Food was good. Several of the other customers were "smoking" some sort of large vaping device. It made the whole restaurant strongly smell like incense. If you have a sensitive nose you probably don't want to eat inside. Lunch specials were a good value and even included a small piece of Baklava.
Webster/Clear Lake is a crowded market for Mediterranean, but Mawal manages to carve its own definitive space with its variety, quality, and hookah availability. The service is typically a little slow, so it's not the place to go in a hurry, but the food more than makes up for any slowness. They are

I had an amazing dinner here! Food was exquisite, the lamb shank was so perfect, has great flavor, plus it fell off the bone and melted in my mouth!! Straight mouth orgasm style!! The humus and pita was de-licious!! Thanks to the staff and chefs, you guys have an amazing establishment!

We come here at least once a month. The restaurant's clean, quiet and the food so good. We always order the same over and over again. Mawal Plate..thats it .

Great food and good hookah! Outside seating available on the patio. Had the kunufeh, falafel plate and chicken kabob all which we were satisfied with.
Prices were reasonable and our server was cool - no complaints here.

Very good Mediterranean food that came in large, fairly priced portions. The staff was young but professional and efficient. They also had the strange pairing of a full crepe menu but, sadly, we didn't get to try it this time.

An excellent place to get drinks, munchies, and just hang out! Great staff, and flavorful food. Their Turkish coffee and Pakistani chai tea were fantastic! Wouldn't recommend if you're in a hurry, but if not, then why not stay a while? Give this awesome little place a try!
